I was on the couch, crying myself to sleep over everything. "I'm so done!" I yelled into my pillow. "I just want to go home!" I laid there until Sidney walked in with Beau Bennett and Taylor Pyatt. "What?!" I sanpped.
"Are you coming to the game?" I shook my head.
"Sorry. I'm heading back to Pittsburgh." I got up, grabbed my stuff, and left the hotel. Leaving Sidney behind.
I stopped at the vending machines because I was starving. "Hmm." I said to myself.
"Need some money?" I turned around and saw Sidney. "Are you okay? You seem really upset and that makes me upset." I walked over to him.
"It's...I just..." He put his arm around me and walked me back to our room.
"Talk," he said as we sat on the couch.
"I can't stand to see my family break apart!" I blurted. I buried my face into his chest as the others filed in along with coach B.
"Hey guys. Any word on Sutter?" I shook my head.
"No why? Is...is he okay?" I asked, hoping he was.
"No," Coach replied. "His fever went up according to one of the team's doctors. They're trying to bring it down." Sidney put his arm around me.
"Well...what are we gonna do?"
I stood up. "I'll play for Sutter." Everyone by then, was looking at me. "I said-." The coach cut me off.
"I heard you. Can you play?" I nodded.
"I hope so," Sidney muttered.

We were down at Barclays Center when the Islanders starting filing into the arena. "I'm gonna-." Sid grabbed my arm.
"Stay here. What do you care if they say something to you?" He was right. They can all kiss my ass!
It felt good to get back out onto the ice and play again.
My heart was telling me to keep on playing, but a voice in my head was replaying what had happened at Bridgestone.
"HEY DIXON! YOU AWAKE?!" I could hear the Islanders' players yelling.
I dropped the stick and skated as fast as I could over towards their bench.
"Kelsey! Hey! Knock it off! C'mon!" Sidney had pried me off of the players.
"Tell that to the douchebags on the bench." I snapped.
"She's good coach. Like really good." I sat in a corner texting Sutter.
Me: hi:D
B.Sutter: hey :)
Me: how are you feeling?? I hear you're getting worse??
B.Sutter: Yeah kinda
Me: oh. :/
B.Sutter: please don't get upset.
Me: I'm not. B)
"Hey Dixon! C'mere!" I got up and waked over to Sidney.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Will you play for Sutter tonight?" My heart raced at that question.
"Yes! Thank you so much!"
I was on the couch, asleep, when Sidney walked in. "Hi beautiful." He kissed me on the forehead. FINALLY! SIDNEY CROSBY FINALLY KISSED ME! (The top of my head didn't count.)
"Hey." I kissed him right back.
"So about tonight, make yourself look like a dude. And try not to...never mind." I laid back onto the pillow that I was sleeping on.
"I'm gonna go grab an extra jersey of his."
I slowly closed my eyes and started to breathe slowly. "Are you gonna have another panic attack again?" He asked.
"No. I'm just...tonight though." He came over and sat next to me on the couch.
"Are you sure about tonight?" I rested my head onto his shoulder.
"No. I don't wanna cost you guys a few games." I closed my eyes and relaxed a bit.
"You won't, trust me. And, if it makes you feel any better, I'll be right there on the ice next to you."
"Well...what if someone comes up to me and asks me why I'm on the ice?" He looked at me all funny.
"What's wrong with that?" I shrugged.
"Nothing. Just go get the stuff so I can go practice with you guys."

I was sprawled out on my bed catching up with Mallory.
"Life is great!"
"Good to hear!"

He came back with the jersey, and I suddenly wished I were back in Pittsburg taking care of Sutter. "Thanks," I mouthed.
"No problem."
"Anyways...I hear you're dating Sidney Crosby?"
I froze.
"Uh where did you hear that?" I asked.
