The Boy Next Door

Chapter 1

~Ranaisa P.O.V~
So i was sitting in my room when my sister came up stairs and yell literally yelled in my ear. "WE HAVE NEW NEIGHBORS!!!"

I can not tell you how upset that made me. Before I could say anything else we heard mom yell from downstairs "All y'all got 10 seconds to get down here". I have never "attempted" to run so fast in my life. When I was trying to run down the stairs, Ramaya and Ricky were ahead of me and Reese bumped into me and I fell then rolled down the rest of the stairs.

When we were all there mom told us that we were going to go and meet the new neighbors.  I felt like we were one of those families on TV because she making us bring over a pie and a cake for them. On our way walking over there all I could think about was the fact that I DID NOT  feel like going to meet these people.

When we got next door my mom knocked on the door and a few seconds later a woman dressed in a long black dress with box braids and heels opens the door with a girl around my age. "Hi I'm Sierra Bullock and these are my kids Ranasia, Ramaya, Reese, and Ricky. Welcome to the neighborhood" mom said while handing here the deserts. " Thank you, I'm Tara Jones this is my youngest daughter Tamika she's 16. Let me just call the others, come in" she says before she yells for her other kids to come downstairs.

About a minute went by before anorher girl and a boy came down stairs.Tara introduced us saying that there names were Tanasia and Terrence. They seemed cool, but there was something with Tamika. I dont know what it is but I can just see she was having a problem. Then  another boy came downstairs. "I'm Thaddeus" he said while lifting his head up and showing us his face. O can't even describe how good he looks.

After the introductions, Tara invited us to all sit in her living room and talk. The whole time I tried not to stare at Thaddeus, but I couldn't control it so I tried to just keep my head down. When I lifted my head back I saw him staring at me then quickly looking away when he realized i noticed. Yeah he will definitely be messing with my emotions.

~Thaddeus P.O.V~
When i heard mom call us down stairs i had just finished putting my stuff up. When i was walking down the stairs i decide to introduce myself " I'm Thaddeus" i lift my head up to show them my face and to see who they were.

After the introductions mom decide to sit in the living room and talk i just kept staring at the girl named Ranasia, she looked like she didn't want to look up at me and when she did i turn my head so fast. She still seen me though. Will she be the one?

I gave up and decide to invite them upstairs to my room since it was the only room that was finished. They all came in and I pulled Ranasia over there by my desk where I was. She was a bit shocked at first but i didn't give her enough time i asked her the question that had been on my mind " what are you mixed with"

She said Hispanic and African American what about you?"

" The same thing actually but my mom is in charge around here so we rarely speack spanish unless you are prepared to be buried 12 feet under"

" oh thats how my mom is too you should of heard her this morning she said we had 10 seconds to get down stairs so everybody started running then my oldest twin brother Reese" did she just say oldest twin brother does that mean there quads? Idk "pushed me and I was sent rolling down the rest of the stairs do you have a twin?"

"Yea Tanasia so are Tamika and Terrence. But there the youngest set and i'm the second oldest are yall quads?"

"Yea and im also the second oldest"

That was the end of the conversation because my sisters and her sister called her over there with them to talk about school.

It looked like something was bothering Tamika it's probably that no good ass of a boyfriend of hers.

I went and talked with the guys. Not paying attention to them i didnt hear them say lets play truth or dare. So they made me run down stairs to get the bottle.
