Chapter 4

"Coming" I shouted to mom I unlock the door "why was your door locked" mom said walking in my room "umm I was uh studying and I wanted to get better concentration" I lied "but it sounded it like I heard 2 voices not 1" should I just tell her the truth "okay mom I was studying but not by myself" I walk over to the closet and open the door "I invited Thaddeus over and he didn't want to come in through the front door so I just told home he could come through the window instead" I said "hi mrs.bullock" Thaddeus said kinda of scared

"Ranasia can I talk to you in the hall for a minute. It's nice to see you Thaddeus" I hope I'm not in that much trouble I mean I did come out and tell her part of the truth instead of a big lie "yes mom" I say scared "why didn't you tell me you invited him over I could've baked some cookies or something and next time don't lock the door with boys in your room" she lightly hit me on my arm and walk off.

That was easy now I have to go tell him why I told he was in the closet. I walk back in the room he is just sitting on the bed looking up at the ceiling. "Hi uh sorry I just felt so pressured to tell her that you was here"

"It's okay as long as I don't have to have a private chat with her that would be awkward"

Thaddeus P.O.V

Ranasia mom walks back in "Thaddeus can I talk to you downstairs" "um yea yea sure" I walk downstairs behind her thinking about what type of questions she was going to ask me about ranasia. We walked downstairs into the kitchen and Ramaya was at the table on her phone.  Sierra(Ranasia mom) walked to the stove and started stirring something in a pot. About 5 minutes went past of me just standing in the doorway of kitchen, while Ramaya talking loudly on FaceTime, and Sierra still at the stove. "Have a seat" finally being the one to break the (somewhat) silence. I went and sat in the seat farthest away from the stove.  "Ms Bu-" " I know that you two weren't studying in that room" I tried not to look too shocked as I quickly tried to come up with an lie. " You were in her room"  Ramaya said, yelled, while smiling and dropping her phone, quickly grabbing it and running out of the room. " So... you wanna tell me what was really happening up there before I just start assuming the worse?" I started thinking should I really tell her that I saw her daughter naked, and then came to her house through the window....probably not. Not unless I wanna get me and Ranasia killed, then her mother because my moms gonna kill her. " I really came here to ask her about the school since I start on Monday and we'll most likely have classes with each other"   " Why did you go through the window?" She asked while not even looking at me. "Well we were both sitting at our windows, so I thought it would be harmless to just come over and talk to her". "Hmm"

Ranasia POV

I was sitting on my bed thinking about what my mom could be telling Thaddeus. Thinking that maybe she just told him to go home, I went to my door to go downstairs but was knocked down as soon as I opened the door.  "Girrrll" Ramaya said being completely EXTRA like she usually is. "What" I asked. " So... you and Thaddeus..." from the look in her face I could already tell where this conversation was bout to go. " It's not like that" It was like everything I was saying went in one ear and out the other as she came up with her own theory. "Mhm, I don't know bout that... I mean that kiss earlier..." she said smiling and shrugging got her shoulders.  "You think he's cute?" I was trying so hard not to blush because knowing Ramaya she was gonna make this way bigger than what it was.  "I mea-"  before I could finish we heard something hit against my window. We went to the window and saw Thaddeus standing outside as he smiled then waved before he went inside his house. " It's not like that" Ramaya mocked me as she walked out my room, slamming my door.
