where it was so easy to love someone like him
to lay beside his body and hold him in our sleep
as i felt his breath on my neck while we laid upon my bed
his arms held me tightly like he was scared I'll go
in that moment I stare at his sleeping self
as his lips part with each breath he took
his eyes hidden within a deep slumber
i felt the roughness of his palm
touching my skin so softly like satin sheets
lips so tempting they remind me of the forbidden fruit
and with each taste I know I have sinned
