Godzilla didn't realize how long he had slept. But he knew it was already morning. The warmth he was feeling earlier was gone, and the dragon found he was alone. Getting up on his paws, Godzilla turned towards the beach down below. The water was quietly flowing, little waves rippling at the shore. Godzilla walked downhill towards the ocean. He placed a paw in the tide, feeling the cold but welcoming water seep over his scales. Oh, how he missed this feeling. He was so close to home, even though it wasn't the ocean he knew. This wasn't the ocean he was birthed in. His ocean was always warm, the soft currents tugging at his scales like fish hooks tugging tuna into a boat. His ocean was beautiful. His ocean was home. But Godzilla needed to embrace his element once again. The dragon slipped into the tide, letting the undertow pull him deeper into the water. Soon, Godzilla was submerged into the water. The current carried Godzilla through the water in movements as elegant as swans. Godzilla relaxed his body, allowing the current to guide him. Below Godzilla were beautiful and colorful coral reefs that formed massive communities, sheltering hundreds of crustaceans, eels, and tropical fish. Godzilla's heart was racing. This feeling in his body. For the first time in two years, Godzilla became joyous. Rising to the surface, Godzilla laughed the most wholehearted laugh he could muster. Smiling from ear to ear, Godzilla floated on the ocean's surface in a relaxed position. Godzilla would've stayed there for eternity.... Had it not been for the shadow of death that hovered above him. A massive blast of green fire surged towards Godzilla, but he flew out of its way just in time. Looking up, Godzilla spotted Bagorah. But he had drastically changed. The red and orange coloring covering Bagorah's body was now black and green, with hints of purple. Glowing green spikes jutted out from Bagorah's back, his wings looked larger than before. Bagorah's eyes bore no pupils, just glowing red eyes that casted a evil, almost demonic glow. His wicked jaws drooled with purple fluid. With a rage-induced shriek, Neo Bagorah (as he now calls himself) dove straight towards Godzilla. Godzilla moved out of the way once more, flying towards the shore. Neo Bagorah shrieked, giving chase. Clay and the others (who actually went to find breakfast) returned to see Godzilla being pursued by the black and green monstrosity.
"RUN!!! GET OUT OF HERE!!!" Godzilla yelled, dodging yet another green hyper beam. The green laser hit the forest, blowing it sky-high. Clay and the others flew out of the explosion's range and watched in fear as Godzilla climbed higher into the sky with Neo Bagorah snapping at his tail.
"FIGHT ME, GOJIRA!!! FACE ME LIKE A TRUE WARRIOR!!!" Neo Bagorah roared. Godzilla snarled as he halted flapping and flipped his body around, charging up his atomic breath. But he was too late when Neo Bagorah fired a hyper beam at Godzilla, engulfing the dragon in green flame. A mid-air massive explosion lit up the sky as the dragonets could see a small, flaming form careening far towards the south. Godzilla screamed as he helplessly plummeted into a far off forest.
"NOOOOOOOOO!!" Tsunami screamed, attempting to race after Godzilla, but she and the rest of the dragonets were seized by Neo Bagorah. The giant bat screeched as he flew off, the dragonets of destiny in his clutches. The dragonets could only watch as they were carried farther and farther from Godzilla.
