It was official. I was losing it. My downward spiral into infinite insanity was quickly approaching and I was taking a nosedive straight to the bottom. Taking a deep breath I tried to put back together the remains of my mental health before I thought another word. This is crazy. I'm crazy.

No! Stop it right now and pull yourself together I thought. This is all just a bump in the road. I'm hallucinating from the stress of my junior year and the finals quickly approaching to tear my grades apart and ruin my chances of getting into the college of my dreams. No college equals no job and no job equals no money no money equals no house or food or clothes. It's also now official that I'm gonna be homeless, a crazy homeless person. My life is over.

STOP! STOP IT RIGHT NOW!

Kaycee Morgan you need to pull the wreck that is now your life together right this instant I told my self. Deep breaths. In. Out. In. Out. I'm ok. I'm ok. I'm ok.
At least that's what I've been telling myself ever since I first saw that weird message scrolling through Pinterest. I brushed it off at first, but soon began seeing it everywhere and I couldn't ignore it. Everywhere I went whether it's hidden in a page at the library or on a highway billboard. The urgent messages stared back at me with the persistence of a WORD. Yelling at me to "come back". Whatever that meant I wasn't sure, but I did know that
something weird was going on and no one else seemed to see it but me.

It's was equally terrifying as it was frustrating. A part of me wanted to return to the sense of normalcy I had before these strange signals showed up. However a part of me was also extremely curious. Why were these messages here? Why was I apparently the only one that could see them? What did they want and most importantly did they hold some truth that was begging to be unearthed?
