My heart, it beats so fast
As I stand on this cliff
Am i really ready to die?
To no longer live?
"Jump" my head tells me
My arms shake
My legs tremble
"Don't jump"
Says my heart
So quiet, unnoticed
"Come on, stand back
You'll win this fight
Don't give up
Not tonight"
Head against heart
The battle has begun
Only one side can win
Damage will be done
