"Jess! Come on, it can't be that bad!" My best friend Jade complained.
"Yes it can and it is. You dragged me out of the house when I was perfectly happy watching tv and eating."
I huffed as we turned yet another New York street corner.
"We just moved here and you won't even see the city. You're no fun." She giggled playfully.
"I wouldn't even be here if you hadn't dragged me along, and so I am GOING HOME!" I turned on my heel and started to walk away.
"And what sit there drooling over the Mortal Instruments?" she joked calling after me.
"Last time I checked you were the one with the crush on like every guy in that movie." I smirked as she glared at me. " You're the party girl, go and have fun, I'll see you back at the house."
"Fine" she huffed "just don't get yourself kidnapped."
"I'll try my best." I chuckled as she hugged me.
" Bye" I waved.
I laughed as I turned the corner and WHAM!! I ran straight into someone...
