NAMJOON~
Strolling along the busy streets of Hongdae until she sets foot on a well-known mall in town. Her feet is dragging her to nowhere just trying to free her mind from worries. She thought of calling her friend to ease her heart aches, but she must be busy today. She doesn't want to be a burden especially to her friend that has been her hero ever since.
She was looking to a beautiful bag through the glass window of a fancy apparel when her phone beeps making her heart flutter in an instant, thinking that it might be Ravi, but it was Angel who is calling, it was almost a relief for her.
"Mon-mon! Yah. Bogo Shipda!"
"Angel... how are you? Did he hurt you? Did he do something bad to you? Yah. Tell me!" She continuously bombarded her with so many questions. She's clearly worrying for her friend's safety.
"Yah. I'm very much fine. hmmm... He didn't do anything bad so far. Well... he just... ahmmm." It looks like she's acting weird and it feels like she's feeling something different from her friend's tone.
"What? what?! He just what?!"
"He just... Ahhh... Nevermind... Haha. I tell you next time, Mon." Angel chuckles on the other line.
"YAH! DID someth-" Her eyes glued immediately to the two familiar individuals she did not expect to see at this time.
Ravi and his fiance walking towards her direction.
"Shit, Angel. I must hang up now. Uhmmm.. Bye!" She hurriedly covers her face to escape from their sight and carry on to walk away. Unfortunately, her handphone slips from her hands sliding across the ground.
'Holy shit!'
She was about to grab it when a familiar hand appears to pick it up. She stares up at the person and there she met those lovely eyes again.
"Monica?" Ravi speaks up jolting his head back to his fiance for an obvious permission.
"Eh? Ravi... Yeah. Hi...uhmmm can I get my phone now? Mianhae." She's gesturing her hands to take it but Ravi is still baffled to believe the sudden situation. Meeting his ex-girlfriend at the most unexpected time and place.
"Uh- yeah... Here." They can sense the uneasiness of the atmosphere. Even Imani is too dumbfounded to talk. She too was feeling a little weird meeting Monica unexpectedly.
She actually felt pity for both of them, it wasn't her intention to ruin their relationship. Their companies needed each other, it was a desperate decision for both parties and it is the only resolution they have.
"Hello, Monica... I'm Imani. Ravi talks about you a lot. It's a pleasure to meet you." She extended her hand profusely giving Monica a genuine smile. She can't seem to hate her for some reason.
"Oh hi! Yeah? Well... Please to meet you too, Imani. So? Preparing for your wedding?" She smiled back and shook Imani's hands fairly, giving them both awkward glances.
"Well, Uhm yeah." Ravi can't seem to speak properly in front of the two girls who are both dear to him.
Imani, she was his friend and they've shared a lot of memories ever since they were kids.
Monica, the girl that made his life worthwhile. She was always there for him through thick and thin. The girl that made him realize that he's capable of falling in love.
But he has chosen the other one because he needs too and hurting the other one in the process.
His thoughts were interrupted when Imani clears her throat to break the silence.
"Yeah, actually we're here to canvass for our wedding ring." She politely states avoiding to sound eager. She doesn't want to leave a bad impression to Monica.
