Resident Evil 7 (Reader insert)

Main Hall

You think that You waited to long to get up.. WARNING This chapter might be 'all over the place' so sorry if it's confusing.

Ethan ended up-AHEM....falling on top of you. You were blushing madly. "Y/N I'm SO sorry!" Ethan said. "N-no, no, it's okay." you said. Ethan was still on top of you. (Ok maybe I lied about the 'I really care about you' x reader) You don't know why, but Ethan hugged you. You heard someone clear their throat. "Am I inturupting something? Or should I leave you two alone for a while? Don't worry, I won't scout ahead, I'll stay in the Safe Room." Fli said with her arms crossed and tapping her foot. You and Ethan were nearly as red as the mower in the hatch. (Idk I have no good references) Ethan got off of you and you got up. "Hmph" Fli said, walking up the stairs. That smart little-. You went over to the two large doors and put the ox statuette where it was missing. You noticed Ethan's gun had blood on it, when Jack shot himself. You pushed open the doors and walked in. You heard Fli shout and sprint out of the room. "Um..Ethan?" you said nervously. "Wait. There's nothing here." you said. "Are you sure?" Fli said coming back. "What's that- oh..." Fli said. She simply got jumpscared by a fan's shadow. It was still spinning eventhough it wasn't plugged in. That shadow was pretty strange. You looked over at the table next to the door to see a bobblehead along with a note that said 'shoot me! Shoot me!!!' "WAIT! WOULD IF IT'S A TRAP?!" Fli screeched. Ethan ignored her and shot it. It burst in to a puff of bright blue dust, pieces of it flying in different directions in the process. A small box/screen popped up and read, 'He's here, there,  Everywhere! *destroy a Mr.Everywhere.' You grabbed the Herb next to it and combined it with Chem Fluid you grabbed in the Garage. 

Ethan holds ammunition, weapons, and STEROIDS (Muscle)

You hold First Aid Meds, Herbs, and Treasure Photos (Medical Things)

Fli holds Antique Coins, Lock Picks, and  Psychostimulants. (Other)

*Ethan found Gunpowder in the cabinet

*You grabbed the Herb

*Fli got the Antique Coin in the drawer.

The phone started ringing. "Oooh!!" Fli yelled. She was staring at something. "What is it?" you asked. She didn't answer so you followed her gaze and saw a Shotgun in a small room. Fli ran over to it. "WAIT COME BACK! FLI!" you yelled. Fli grabbed the Shotgun but a large metal door closed as soon as she grabbed it. "Oh shhhimer stars." Fli said. Ethan was about to answer the phone until you called his name. "Um, Ethan, we have a bit of a problem." you said. "What did Fli do?" Ethan asked. "Wow you're spot on." You said. Ethan growled in frustration. "Okay, Fli saw the Shotgun in that room over there and I don't know how to get her out." you said, pointing at the room you heard pounding on. "Did you see anything holding the Shotgun? Ethan asked. "Well, there was a statue holding it. Why?" you said. Wait. You got it now. THAT was the real trap. "Fli?" You and Ethan asked. "Yes?~" Fli asked in a silly voice. "Do you see where the Shotgun was?" Ethan asked. "Yes, it's right in front of me." Fli said. "Can you put the Shotgun back?" you asked. "I can I just won't." Fli said. "If we get out of here alive, we'll take away your electronics for 2 months." you said. Woah. You sounded like a mom/dad. (I won't judge.) Weird. You instantly heard a 'click' and the door opened. Fli came out of the room, pouting. "You guys are no fun. Actually, that'd make a good hiding place." Fli said. "Wait, do you hear that?" you said. "I don't hear anything." Ethan said. "Me neither." Fli said. "Exactly." you said. "The phone stopped ringing." you said. The phone started ringing again. "Nevermind." you grumbled. Ethan answered it. "Did my daddy give you a hard time?" Zoe said. (Fli: *LENNY INTENSIFIES*) "That's your father?" Ethan said. "He used to be." Zoe said. "I'm sorry..but he-he's, uh, he's dead now." Ethan said. You giggled at the way he explained it. Ethan blushed a little. "Real smooth Ethan." Fli whispered as she highfived him. "You just might be able to pull this off." Zoe said. "YAY! KILLING SOMEONE WAS AN ACHIEVEMENT!" Fli said happily. You could've swore you heard Zoe chuckle. "W-what? Pull what off?" Ethan said. You've never heard him stutter THIS much before. "There's something I need you guys to do, but I can't explain it right now. You may need some sort of keys to do it, but find a way out of the house." Zoe said. "Okay." Ethan said. "I'll be in touch." Zoe said. The phone hung up. You heard some sort of metal being grabbed, but you saw nothing. You saw a door with some sort of dog body, along with 3 heads missing. You heard the ticking in the room stop. Ethan got some Chem Fluid. Fli looked out the barbed widow next to the door. The wind violently shuddered against it. "Jesus, chill out wind." Fli said. There was another door, it had scorpions on it. You tried to open it, but it was locked. Ethan went to a room a projector, pedestal, and a picture with a blank spot it shaped like an Eagle. Fli zoomed over to it. "Oooh!!!!! I KNOW HOW TO DO THIS CAN I DO IT? PLEEEEAASSSE????" Fli begged. Ethan stepped aside as an answer. "Thank yoooouu. God bless you, child." Fli said. (Sound Familiar?) She had what an Antique Coin and held it to the light. Nothing happened. The screen came up again. This time saying, 'Nice Try! *Use an unrelated object to try to solve a Shadow Puzzle.' "Wow. Thanks." Fli said sarcastically. You went upstairs. You heard Fli gasp and mutter something, but you couldn't hear her. "Madam. Are you alright? You are still asleep. You are fine." Fli said. Fli went right to try and open what looked like a Snake Door. It was locked too. She went over to where you and Ethan were. Ethan went into the door next to the Elderly Woman. While Ethan was distracted, you saw Fli slip her hand into Ethan's pocket. She looked over at you with her finger over her mouth. She didn't want you to tell. You were surprised Ethan didn't feel her rummaging through his pocket. She pulled out car keys. 

*Car Keys- Ethan's car keys. He must've dropped them in the Attic when he was attacked.

"Mwhahahaha" Fli laughed.  "Why and how did you take my Car Keys?" Ethan said. Fli hid the keys behind her back. "Whaat?? Car Keys? Pfft, what Car Keys?" Fli said. "The keys you're hiding behind your back." Ethan said. "Are you sure? I don't have any Car Keys." Fli said. This was pretty entertaining. "Fine. Just give me a hug." Ethan said. He winked at you. Fli hugged him. "Wait a second-" Fli was cut off by Ethan taking the keys from her hand. "Hey!" Fli said. "Why were you trying to take his keys, anyway?" you asked. "I don't know. I like stealing stuff and hiding it. I'm like a Doge." Fli said. Ethan looked at a football helmet on the table. "Maybe it's daddy's hobby." Ethan said. Fli snickered and so did you. "I didn't know you felt that way about Jack, Ethan." you said. Ethan facepalmed, but you swore you saw him smiling. "You called him Daddy." Fli teased. You went over to the Left/Right. Ethan went the other way. Fli saw out one of the cracks on the side you were going. You turned to see a woman (Margurite) walking with a lantern in hand, possibly looking for you 3. Fli hid somewhere, probably beneath a table or behind a large box. You could hear Margurite talking, but it was faint. 

You walked further down the hall and found a box. Fli picked it up and smashed it on to the floor. She found Handgun Ammo, but you saw Margurite go to a halt. "Uh, Fli?" you said. "Yes?" she didn't use a silly voice like usual. "Something tells me that she heard you." you said. "What makes you say that?" Fli asked. She looked over. It looked as if Margurite  were staring right at you. "Oh." Fli whispered. "Don't move. She might see us. Blend in, stay still." you said. "Probably just my mind playing tricks on me again." Margurite said, walking away. Fli went back, but when you saw her walk back, she was pale. "Fli? Fli what happened?" you asked worriedly. "W-where's Ethan?" she asked. You tilted your head. "He went the other way, why?" you asked. Fli didn't answer. "Fli!" you yelled. "Shh! He might hear you!" Fli whispered. You needed to know what she was talking about. "W-what are you talking about?" you said. 

(Author POV with Ethan)                               

Ethan was done  looking in the Recreation Room. He found a list which showed how the Dog heads were hidden. He found the Blue Dog Head. He found a tape labeled "Mia". He didn't watch it though. He wanted to save it with you. And Fli. He doesn't know why, but he felt weird around you. He wasn't going to ask you about it. He was going to ask Fli, since he figured this feeling would get worse around you. Whenever he was around you, his face would get hot, (*LENNY INTENSIFIES*) and his heart would flutter. He feels like this was the feeling he got before. He found an Antique Coin and destroyed a Mr.Everywhere. He looked at another door with scorpions on it. A thin screen popped up and said, "There's a Shotgun in the other room.". Ethan didn't have  key, but he figured he'll find one later. He left the Recreation Room and went towards a door in the hall.

(Back with you)

"Fli what's the matter?" you asked. "....Jack is back...." Fli said. Your eyes widened. "Which way did he go?" you asked. "I saw him go the way Ethan went." Fli said.  "Oh no...." you said. You got up. "I hope you have a plan." Fli said. "Remember, Jack is WAY more powerful than any of us." Fli said. "Do you have a crush on anyone?" Fli asked. Your face darkened. "Ooooh!! Tell me tell me tell me! Is it Ethan?" Fli asked. "No...maybe....you never know." you said. Fli didn't look amused. "Mhm. Let's just call it that." Fli said sarcastically. "Ugh! What are we doing just sitting here? Let's go!" you said. 

(BWE) 

Ethan just got the Wooden Statuette that was needed with the Shadow Puzzle. He was just about to leave until Jack decided to come in for a little chat. No, he went in and grabbed Ethan by the throat. "Heck of a thing, ain't it? Sure as shot beats the hell out of dying." Jack said. He was pretty much being choked right now. Jack had a new weapon now. It was spiky. Jack threw Ethan over the bathtub where he got the Wooden Statuette. "My little girls have given us their gifts, and that gift is with me, always." Jack said. Ethan ran out of the room. 'Girls? Gifts? US?' Ethan thought. He was about to turn the corner until.....

He ran into you and Fli.......but something was off about you two.....
