As Leo gulped nervously in fear in the man behind, he quickly scrambled away turning his back to the stone where the demonic looking knight had been released. Meanwhile Melvin looked like he was about to explode with anger from what the foolish mortal had done.
"Do you have any idea of what you've done, Leo Castle?!," the white man screamed. "All you had to do was go back and enjoy the rest of your life with your friends and family, but no! You had to ignore my warning and released Demon King Arteries from his prison that I've maintained for the past nine hundred years and now he's going to enslave the entire world thanks to you!!"
"I'm sorry!!," Leo cried as tears of fear started run down his face. "I didn't mean to release him!! I just want to show my friends that I could pull that sword....since I was afraid to pull the other one earlier..."
Melvin then sighed as he walked over to the young man and patted him on the head. "I know...I know everything. I know how you get pick on for you interests and how that has made you so afraid do certain things out of fear of being made fun of for it, but trust me when I say you should of never pulled that sword."
The blonde hair boy then stopped crying at the man's comments. "Umm...how do you know so much about me? I don't think I ever told you my name....have you been stalking me?"
Melvin then swatted Leo on head with his staff. "No you idiot!! I know so much about you because I'm Merlin!! You know from the legend of King Arthur. I can see the future and I saw you pulling the Deathcalibur from the stone which is why I tried to stop you earlier. I had thought it would been enough to change Fate, but it seems all I did was buy a few extra minutes because you released Arteries anyways!!"
"Ok...you normally I would think you're crazy...," Leo stated as the wizard glared at him and looked like he was about smack him again. "But seeing how I saw what just happened, I kind of have to believe you, but if you're really Merlin, how you still alive and who exactly is Arteries? I've never even heard of him before especially in King Arthur's legend."
Merlin sighed. "First, I'm immortal which is why I'm not dead. Secondly, there is no record of Arteries because I wiped all knowledge about him from history so no one would ever try to release him. You see...after Mordred and Arthur killed each other in their last battle, Morgan Le Fay used all of her remaining powers to create Arteries who is actually just a demonic clone of Arthur herself who was then given Deathcalibur by Morgan herself. He tried to take Camelot for himself, but luckily, I was able to seal him away with his own sword before he did any real harm and I've been moving his prison around the world ever since, but now that he is free, he going to continue where he left off and now nothing can stop him."
"Oh....crap baskets." the blonde haired boy said lowering his head in shame before suddenly thinking about something Merlin just said. "Wait....you said Arteries was a clone of Arthur...herself? Isn't Arthur a guy?"
Merlin groaned as he realizes he gave away one history's important secrets and was about to explain when a lift suddenly came from the stone where Arteries was released blinding both him and Leo. Once the light disappeared, both males looked up to see a teenaged girl wearing a white dress and armor with a golden sword in her hand standing before them with her eyes close. As she opened them, it showed off her emerald green eyes that made Leo's heart immediately melt because of how beautiful she was.
The girl's eyes immediately widened as she saw Merlin as she raced towards him and hugged him. "Merlin!!! It's so good to see you!!"
The immortal wizard was shocked for a moment before smiling himself as returned the girl's hug. "Artoria!!! I'm so glad that you're here. If you're here, we may have a fighting chance to stop Arteries after all!"
Leo then stood up confused. "Umm...Merlin...who is this girl?"
Merlin and the girl then turned to the boy realizing he was still there. "Well...this is Artoria Pendragon...king of Britain and better known as King Arthur. And she is our only chance to stop Arteries."
Leo's jaw immediately dropped. "Wait...you mean this girl is King Arthur?!"
The girl nodded before walking over to him and proceeded to punch him in the gut. "That's correct you idiot. I'm King Arthur and you're the moron that set Arteries free. You got it?"
"Yeah...," the blonde haired boy groaned as he dropped to one knee. "I get it. You're the king. Please don't punch me again...um...how exactly are you here?"
Merlin smiled. "You see, when Arteries was set free, you took all the dead spirits of Camelot as his servants including all the other forms of Artoria and corrupted them, but seeing that this version of her is here, it means he didn't get every version of her. This form is known as Saber Lily which Artoria when she first became king."
"Other versions?," Leo asked even more confused. "What does that mean?!"
"It means Arteries split and scattered Artoria's soul when he was released.," the wizard said he put a hand on Leo and Saber Lily's shoulder. "He must of known that Artoria would be resurrected when he was released which is why he separated her soul to stop her from being able to fight. If we have any chance to stop him before he takes over the world, you two are going to have to work together, find all different versions of Artoria, purify them, and then fight Arteries."
Leo gulped nervously as he glanced over to the wizard. "Why do I have to help?"
Merlin smiled. "Because you're the dumbass that released Arteries in the first place. Consider this as your atonement."
"Yeah.," Saber Lily agreed with a nod before taking Leo by the hand started dragging him away from Arteries's prison. "Now come on, scaredy cat. We have other versions of me to find."
