White Knight of the Sun Pt.2

It all happened in a single moment. One minute, Assassin was standing next to Leo and then suddenly she was now clashing blades with the man she once trusted with her life. In her left hand was her own version of Excalibur and in her other was a darker version of the same blade. Leo didn't know anything about this second blade, but he knew it had be just as powerful.

As the two knights fought, Assassin was fighting with such speed and skill with her two blades, that she got a number of blows on Gawain. However, the knight of the sun was barely damaged at all. The girl's attacks appeared to do little to no damage while his seemed to be doing a ton damage with each strike as Holy fire burned across his blade.

As Assassin prepared to strike again, Gawain suddenly slammed into her in nearby tree knocking the wind off her feet. The blonde haired girl dropped the dark sword as she dropped to one knee holding onto Excalibur as she breathed heavy. Her eyes were filled with disgust as she looked up at her former friend.

The man sighed as he gave her a look of pity. "Please don't look at me like that, my king. You should have known that in your assassin form, you have no chance of beating me, one of the Saber Class, in one on one combat and i wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have a choice. At least you can go out with honor for I'll be using my strongest move against you....Farewell, my king."

With that, Gawain lifted his sword in the air as it glowed and burned light the sun. The air grew hot and stiff as Gawain's sword flowed bright before beginning to slash as Artoria.

"Excalibur Galiante!!!," the white knight yelled as a wave of burning heat moved toward Assassin.

Leo looked back in horror as the vicious amount headed towards his friend. The boy couldn't believe one of Arteries's servants was to defeat a version of King Arthur in combat. This couldn't be happening....he couldn't let this happened. The blonde haired boy looked down on the ground where the dark blade that Assassin had dropped laid. In a moment of adrenaline, he quickly picked up the blade and suddenly, Leo's conscious fell into darkness.

As Assassin was about to go accept her fate, Leo suddenly dart in front of her with Dark Excalibur in his hands and swatted away Gawain's noble phantasm like it was nothing. Gawain's jaw dropped on shock as somehow a normal teenage boy deflected his strongest attack so easily. The knight was about to question the boy when he noticed Leo's eyes that were once crystal blue were now a crimson red and devoid of personality.

Once again, Leo suddenly moved faster than both servants could see and then appeared in front of Gawain just to pierce through his heart with dark blade.

As the knight coughed up blood, he fell onto the boy in front smearing his clothes with blood. "Who...wh-what are you?"

Leo just stared blankly at the knight dying on him before Gawain disappeared into light. Then the boy immediately collapsed unconscious onto the ground as Dark Excalibur disappeared from his hand. Assassin quickly ran up next to him as she wondered what happened. How did Leo deflect Gawain's attack  and why did he kill him? Hopefully Merlin could explain as she picked the blonde haired boy up and started to walk home.

Meanwhile, watching from afar, Arteries just sat on her throne intrigued by current events. A wicked smile appeared on her face she laughed manically. It seemed Leo Castle was more important than just being a hostage...he was monster. A monster that she wanted to control.
