Convincing you to go and meet,
The waves that use force to push,
You back to land in a rush,
They remind you of importance,
Love and life to still experience,
But as you pull forward, deeper in,
The waves get bigger and win,
They either push you away,
Or show feelings of the last day,
Filling your nose with regret,
Gasping for air until you've met,
The waves reaching at your feet,
