Aspen's POV

I woke up to Brendon Urie Shouting 'CAUSE IT'S NINE IN THE AFTERNOON' in my face. He was my alarm.(on meh phone) Don't judge me. I look across the room. Aubrey is still sleeping. (If you don't know anything about this character read the description)I go over to her bed to wake her up. "Brendon Urie's here." I whisper into her ear. She instantly wakes up. "OH MAE GAHD WHAT!?" She starts screaming. "I'm just joking." I laugh at her screaming. "You meanie!" She makes a fake frown and starts to get fake mad at me. When we are talking, Miss. Jackson (ARE YOU NASTAYYY) comes into our room. "There's a woman that wants to adopt. She says she wants ages 8-16. Get down here and line up with the people." She looks angry. Me and Aubrey think she secretly hates us. We go downstairs together without even eating breakfast. We go line up with the other 15 people. I turn to Aubrey. "What if we both get adopted together?" She hears me and starts jumping up and down. "We'd be sisters!!!" She starts shouting. We turn to look at who wants to adopt. My jaw immediately drops to the floor. "Oh Mae gahd." I whisper to Aubrey. "What?" She looks at me confused. She was all the way at the end of the line so she couldn't see who the adult was.

 "That is the one and only...Ashley Nicolette Frangipane." I whisper to her. She looks excited. It takes Halsey 15 minutes to decide who to interview first. Miss. Jackson tells her that if me or Aubrey gets adopted, we never go without eachother. She nods. She chooses me and Aubrey to interview first. We walk into a room with her. "So, Hi. My name is-" I cut her off. "We know who you are. You are Ashley Nicolette Frangipane. I'm sorry for seeming so creepy, but me and Aubrey listen to your music." I say. She looks shocked. Oh God. She won't choose us now. Crap. I Blew it. For me and Aubrey. "Well, that is interesting. What are your names?" She asks us. "My name's Aubrey and Her name's Aspen. We are best friends. We are both 10 and we never get adopted with out eachother." Aubrey answere before me. "Oh cool. What are your favorite bands/artists?" Halsey asks us. "Well, as you know we like your music. We also like, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Melanie Martinez, Panic! At The Disco, and not really anything else..." I tell her. She looks a bit shocked. We are only 10 years old and we listen to those bands. "Well, I'll see you kids later!" She says bye to us and we say bye as well. We get up and leave the room. Aubrey and I go to our room. "Do you think she'll adopt us?" Aubrey asks me. "I don't think so. I think I blew it saying that I already practicly stalked her." I replied eating the bottom of a strawberry.

Halsey's POV    

I don't even interview anyone else. I go over to the owner, Miss. Jackson (ARE YOU NASTYYYY) and tell her. "I would like to adopt Aspen and Aubrey." She looks disgusted but happy at the same time. "Those freaks? Ok well, they are gone soon then." She tells me. Now I'm disgusted by her.

Aubrey's POV

Miss. Jackson walks over to our room. We look at her with confused faces. "Girls, you are being adopted, pack your bags." She quietly tells us. Me and Aspen look very shocked and we quickly pack our bags.
