witch and witchcraft

no.”

“oh c'mon, chae~ you helped me get some herbs once so that basically means we're already besties! please..?” lisa begged.

park chaeyoung, the girl known for learning myths and magics. well, besides that she dresses like a true hippie brought back from the 70s.

“uhm, no darling we're not. and herbs is one thing but a sé—”

in a spontaneous reflex, the other three girls covered her mouth in perfect unison. causing the latter to gasp for air.

“but that thing is a whole different thing. it's incredulously dangerous and even i had never tried it before!”

there was a pregnant pause before jennie spoke up, “well there must've been something they had ever done to you? i mean, they tortured nearly everyone in the school at least once.”

lisa nodded her head in agreement, “yep and oh oh! i know! remember when they threw your magic book into the fountain?”

“i heard it cost a lot. are they?” jisoo added.

chaeyoung stiffened momentarily. almost like she was in another world for a brief second. “t..that mystical creature book cost a whole month worth of my allowance. i even bought it from an old lady that lives in an abandoned forest on an abandoned hill.” she hissed through gritted teeth.

ok i'm in.

the moon on that friday night shone brighter than ever. chaeyoung exclaimed that it was a good sign, as they sneak into her backyard cottage.

the place was a little bit claustrophobic, a couple of tables was on it's sides and was filled with bottles of liquids upon them. over them, hung a pretty black chandelier.

“that's legit,” commented lisa.

while the others were busy fascinating every inch of that goth-ish cottage, chaeyoung grabbed a chalk and started to draw a huge circle on the floor. she then added a star onto the inside of it. on the middle of the star was placed a cup of cold peach tea with petals of roses.

they all sat around the circle.

“jisoo, pour the salt.” instructed chaeyoung.

the latter took out a tiny bag of salt of her clutch and poured all of it's content into the tea.

the tea has been salted. now hold the hands of the person beside you and follow what i said.”

O spirituum a deorsum usque sursum, tu exaudi me? Si facitis: Veni, et ostendam tibi

the night suddenly fell into a stiff silence. as if they were a movie and the pause button has been clicked.

something cracked and the window besides jennie kim shattered immensely. broken glass flew everywhere and came showering them like a sharp, dangerous snowflakes in an early summer.

cold midnight breeze came rushing in like a spilling water. swirling into the tight space and enlace the petite bodies occupying it. making them unable to move any inch of their, bleeding, skin.

the chandelier swung horrifically. the candles twas lit around the circle had died down when the breeze crashed in. however, clouds has shifted and the moon grinned once again. moonlight dripping all over the place as though a waterfall.

and out of the blue, a singing voice was heard.
