"So, what do you guys think of my homecoming dress?" I twirled around in my dress to show the girls the full effect. "I love it Autumn!" My best friend Alexis said. I smiled and said, "I knew you would." I had invited my little posse to stay over the night before homecoming. Currently we are lounging in my room before we take our blankets to the basement to begin movie night. "Okay so I know we technically weren't supposed to get dates because Autumn doesn't want us to put a shadow over her and Mr. Perfect but... I got asked to homecoming and I said yes." Lucy looked around waiting for everyone's response. "Wow Lucy, you sure know how to ruin things." I just rolled her eyes at her.   We have been getting sick of her anyways these past few weeks. Lucy doesn't even act like she wants to be a part of the group anymore and it was getting rather annoying. "So anyways Autumn," Alexis said as she glared at Lucy, "What are you doing with your hair?" she asked me. Me and Alexis are closer than any of the other girls. Mostly because we have known each other forever basically. "Honestly I'm not sure yet but I think mom is taking me to the salon in the next town over to get it done." Lucy, Alexis, Olivia and Lily all looked at me and smiled. I could tell that Lucy's smile was fake. That's all she is anyways. Fake. She is only friends with us because no one else wants to be friends with her. "Alright let's go to the basement," said Alexis.  We all grabbed our blankets and headed to the basement. Once we got down there we all set up in a circle and began to tell scary stories. Lame I know but it's kind of what we do. "So who has ever played bloody Mary?" I asked everyone. "You're not serious, are you?" Lucy asked. I just rolled my eyes and continued with my story. "Anyways, were going to play the game. First up, Lucy." I glared at her with an evil smile. "Wait what? I thought you were kidding. I don't want to play." "Too bad, now get in the closet. The mirror is set up." I told her as I pulled her up. Me and the girls pushed her into the closet. "I told you I don't want to play." Lucy begged as we shut her in the closet and turned the light off. "Okay now start chanting." Me and the other girls giggled as she began to freak out. Lucy slowly stopped freaking out and started to chant. "Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary."

Lucy's POV:

I began to freak out as soon as they locked me in the closet and turned the lights off. "I told you I don't want to play." I heard them laugh as I said that. I looked around frantically. "Okay now start chanting." I heard Autumn say. I sighed and knew that she wouldn't let me out until I did what I was told. I turned to the mirror and began to chant. "Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary." I just stood there and waited. Nothing was happening so I turned to the door to get out. As soon my hand touched the door I had to jerk it back. The door was scalding hot. "What the heck." I said to myself. "This isn't funny Autumn! Open the door!" I heard giggling but in wasn't from the outside. It was behind me. I slowly turned around and couldn't see anything. It was all black. I have no idea why Autumn was so intent on playing this stupid game. I mean it is just a game, right? I heard more giggling and whirled around to try and find the source. Nothing. I'm sure this was just the girls playing a trick on me. Maybe they're mad I got a date to homecoming and they didn't. I shook my head and went to open the door again. I opened the door and walked out slowly. "Autumn? Alexis? You guys?" I looked around the basement and didn't see anyone. Hmm I wonder where they went. The giggling started again and I followed it. I got to the basement stairs and looked up. It sounded like it was coming from upstairs. I began to make my way up the steps when I heard something behind me. I turned around and saw Autumn standing at the bottom of the stairs. "Autumn?" I cocked my head at her and waited for her to answer me. She just pointed at me and opened her mouth like she was going to scream. She closed her mouth and put her arm down and turned around. She began to walk away and I went to follow her. The girls were standing in a circle and was chanting. Autumn was standing on the outside of the circle and she grabbed my arm and jerked me into the circle. To say I was scared was an understatement. "What are you all doing? Stop!" I was beginning to panic as they kept chanting like something took over them. I started to cry and beg for help. I looked at Olivia and knew something was up. All of a sudden Olivia broke the circle and chanting by starting to giggle. As soon as she began to laugh all the others began to start laughing. "What? What's going on?" I asked them. "You are literally so easy to scare!" Autumn laughed and shook her head. "I can't believe you actually think Bloody Mary is real. Do you also believe in Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny?" Alexis looked at me and shook her head like she couldn't wait to get rid of me. "It was a joke Lucy, calm down." Lily said to me. As the laughter died down we all started to get sleepy. We all climbed into our sleeping bags and blankets. I was staring at the ceiling when Autumn spoke up. "You're not mad are you? It was a joke I promise." I turned and looked at her. No I'm not mad, I promise." I faced towards the ceiling again and an evil smile slowly came over my lips. "Goodnight Autumn."
