Chapter 1 ✋

Parisse's POV:

Hi guys.. My name is Parisse Athena Howards.. My first name is Parisse and it is pronounced as Paris.. I love my name so much.. Thanks to MOM.. But too bad, she passed away because of HIM..

Flashback:

"Dad! No! Please! Don't hurt me! I promise to be a good girl! I won't go out and play with my friends anymore!" I shouted.. My father turned to me and laughed evilly..

"You worthless piece of sh*t! Your promise won't do anything! BITCH!" My father yelled to me..

Since he brought his gun with him, my mother can't protect me from him..

I looked at my mom and mouthed: "Help Me" and then she nodded.. She came behind my oh-so-called-father and almost hit him in the head with a beer bottle but my father was too fast and turned around and shot her. Exactly at the heart.. I can't do anything because I'm frozen from where I'm standing because of what I saw.. My eyes widened as I saw my father approaching me..

I can't move.. How can I run?!?! I thought he was approaching me but he passed by me and walked up the stairs.. He probably called his best friends to come over.. I saw a phone beside the table so I ran to it and called 911 and reported what happened.. After a few minutes, the police officer was standing on our doorway..

"THIS IS THE POLICE! VIRGILIO HOWARDS! COME DOWN! NOW!" the police shouted.. And then I saw my father glaring at me and mouthed: "I'm going to get you back" Oh well, I'm not scared..

"Thank You sir.. Am I living by myself?" I asked the policeman..

"No, dear.. We're going to bring you at 'Change Your Life' orphanage" the policeman said..

Kay then..

*End of flashback*

I didn't notice that there were tears that rolling in my cheeks.. It's been 8 years Parisse! Stop thinking of it! My subconscious yelled at me.. Kaaay then!

"Parisse! Come down! You're the only one that's not going down! Faster!" Mrs. Wallabanger, the caretaker of the orphanage, shouted.

"Coming!" I shouted back..

I picked up a striped shirt with the words written "I love Penguins!" and a galaxy leggings.. That's true though, I love penguins..
