Months have passed and Daniella was looking more pregnant every day. Every so often she had and appointment and that day just happened to be today.

We arrived at the hospital to wait for an ultrasound tech. Kaitelynn had to stay home. She didn't want Copeland to become sick.

"Miss Alston, we are ready for you." The brown haired nurse said as she walked us into a room.

"Hi Daniella, my name is Nurse Alison and I'll be your ultrasound tech today."

She began to put the jelly like substance on Daniella and her hand squeezed mine.

"I know it's cold isn't it?" I said.

She nodded her head.

"Are you the father?" Alison asked.

"No, I guess you could say I'm her guardian."

"Well it's nice to meet you Mr.?"

"Quinn, Kellin Quinn." I replied.

She smiled at me.

"Nice to meet you." She said while turning her head to the monitor.

"So Daniella," Alison began. "You are half way through your pregnancy. Are you excited?"

"Yes 'mam." She replied.

"Would you like to know the sex of your baby?" Alison asked.

Daniella turned to face me. Our eyes made contact with each other. Then her head turned back to the ultrasound.

"I- I don't know."

"It's okay if you do or don't." I said with a smile on my face.

"Actually, I do, I do want to know." Daniella said while smiling and squeezing my hand.

I squeezed it back. I was so excited for her.

"Congratulations Daniella Alston, you are having a baby boy."

She slid off the table and hugged me.

We pulled into the driveway and I was really excited because, I had a couple of surprises for her.

"Daniella?" I said.

"Yeah?" she said turning to me.

"Congrats on your baby boy." I said while showing her the wrapped box.

"Kellin, you didn't have to get me anything." She said while shacking her head.

"Please, I wanted to. Open it."

She grabbed the box with a smile. She began to open it and her mouth dropped open.

"What is it?"I asked as if I didn't know.

"An iPhone.Kellin......." She said

"Look at it." I replied cutting her off.

She opened the phone box until she had the phone in her hand.

"It's a blue iPhone 5c."

"And?"

"There's a case,"

Daniella,

You are my biggest fan. Now I'm yours. You are the toughest girl I have ever met. You mean a lot to me and I would do anything for you.

I smiled. "Your so welcome."

She smiled as well. Then looked down and put her hand on her stomach.

"What? what's wrong?" I asked.

"The baby, he's kicking. Here look."

She grabbed my hand and placed it where the baby was kicking.

"See he's happy." She said.

I kept smiling, then I remembered my other surprise for her.

"Daniella? As you know today is Wednesday and we were planing on going to church. I would love for you to speak in front of the youth, if you would like."

"What would I say?"She asked

"You could just testify." I replied.

"Sure, I'll speak."

"And I'll be right with you."
