Daniella

I couldn't believe all the teenagers that came to this church. I've never been to one so big! Kellin and I walked into the separate building for the teens while Katielynn and Copeland when into the sanctuary.

"Don't you want to be with Kaitelynn?" I asked.

"She will join us in a moment. She's putting Copeland in the nursery."

"There's a nursery in the church?" I asked confused.

"Yeah. We need one for all the little ones, but don't worry they have their own lessons." Kellin replied.

We walked in the doors and the inside was beautiful! It looked like a auditorium. folded chairs, and a big beautiful stage.

"Wait?" I said while stopping in my tracks.

Kellin looked at me. "What?"

"Why are you out here with the teens?"

"I'm in charge of the music portion." He said while continuing to walk.

"Oh duh I could have told myself that." I said under my breath.

Kellin and I walked on the stage.

"So.... This is what it's like to be on a stage." I said.

Kellin looked back at me.

"You've never been on stage before?"

I shook my head. "No, and it's a shame too because I love to sing."

"Good because your gonna help me."

"Wait, what?" I replied while the lights shifted to the stage.

I looked out and it was a full house.

"What's up Grace Bible Church?" Kellin asked.

The crowd roared. They roared just like the other crowd did at Warp Tour.

"We are going to sing a couple of songs for you With the help of my good friend Daniella. Let's give it up for her!"

Everyone clapped including Kellin. I felt my face become warm from embarrassment. I looked at the crowd and I could see some whispering to one another. I knew they were talking about me being pregnant, but for once I didn't care. They were judging me before they got to know me and it's not fair.

"So Daniella," Kellin said to me in the microphone as the clapping died down.

"Do you know the song called Should I Tell Them?"

I looked at him and kinda froze for a minuet. "Yeah, I think so."

Kellin smiled. "Good you can take lead."

The band began to play and I didn't get a chance to express my feelings.

I stared at the big crowd and froze up. The baby began to kick. I quickly looked at Kellin, he smiled. Then I looked at Katielynn, she smiled and nodded her head.

I began to sing.

The crowd went wild. Which I don't know why because I wasn't that great of a singer.

We sang a few more together. I sang a solo song and so did Kellin. Than he got up and put his arm around me.

"Okay guys Daniella is going to testify now." He said.

He faced me and whispered into my ear. "I'll be right up front with Katielynn okay?"

I nodded my head.

I paced back and forth on the stage while talking.

"High, My name is Daniella Alston and I live with Kellin....." I continued to tell the story of how we met and how I got here. I was in tears at this point.

"I made a short video about me. It's called Dear 14 Year Old Me. And I want every one of you to make your own and you can keep it, put it on the internet, whatever. Just watch." I said while the movie screen moved down.

"Dear 14 year old me,

Don't go outside your room unless you want to see your father beat your mother to death.

Be careful what you say to your father of you might have bruises and or broken bones.

"Dear 15 year old me,

You will become pregnant for the first time and drop out of Junior High and..... and will have to abort him or her because being pregnant at home isn't safe for you or the baby. And you will regret it but you didn't have a choice.

Dear 16 year old me,

You will become pregnant again by the same boy. When you run away from home you will meet your hero and live with him.

Your life might suck but it will get better. "

When the video was over Kellin stood by my side and everyone clapped. We sang a song of invitation and everyone started to leave.

Then a cute boy came up to me.

"Hi Daniella." he said.

"Hi." I said while shaking his hand.

"There was a guy wanting your number but he was to shy to come up and ask you." He said.

"Oh, uh I'm not sure if I want to do that."

"He said he might a very big decision tonight.."

"You mean...?"

"I guess."

"Oh well in that case here."

I tore off a piece of paper out of my pocket book and wrote down my number.
