Chapter 20

Jack's POV

   I needed to tell Aspen that I needed space. I wanted to hang out with Maria for a while, I already miss her. "Hey Aspen, Um... well... Can I have some space I wanna hang out with my other friends but we could hang out for a little bit each week, we've been hanging out for almost a week." I said "I know I'm so clingy, I'm sorry..." she said. "Its ok talk to you tommorw?" She nodded and left. I went over to Maria's house and knocked on the door. Then Maria opened it.

Me:"Hey wanna hang out" i asked
Maria:"aren't you with Aspen?"
Me:"Yea but she got too clingy to me"
Maria:"well unless that's doesn't affect your friendship with her."
Me:"Um... I don't think she cares but do you?"
Maria:"Yea sure"
  
     My heart is filled with joy now!

         We walked to the park and sat down on the benchs.

Me:"So what were doing when I was hanging out with Aspen?"
Maria: "Hanging out with Jonah or just by myself."
Me:"I'm sorry I forgot about you🙁"
Maria:"Don't worry"

     Now I felt bad.
Me:"How can I make it up to you?"
Maria:"Jack you don't have to worry"
Me :"You sure?"

   She nodded. We talked about random things and decided to go home.

   Maria POV

    I wasn't mad at Jack he's just hanging out with Aspen way too much. Wait Maria no no no no you cant like Jack, I bet he likes Aspen.
If she makes him happy then I'll just let him go... but I don't want to let him go...
