Tasha and Drake stood on the sprawling lawn, eating hors d'oeuvres and chatting with their guests. A movement near the house caught Tasha's attention. A woman around Tasha's age sauntered down the steps.

"Drake," Tasha said grabbing his arm. "Look."

The blood drained from his face as his eyes grew wide. From his expression, Tasha knew who she was. Drake's ex. How dare Jewels show her face on their wedding day.

Tasha's breathing grew heavy, her fists clenched as her nails dug into her palms. Everyone stopped to stare, as she walked over to Jewels. Tasha's heart rate quickened making her blood boil.

Jewels knew it would piss Tasha off if she showed up on the big day, but she had to see Drake one last time before everything was set into place. Her stomach dropped. It may be the last time she could talk to him without having to report everything back to the boss. Strands of the her hair blew in the slight breeze as her hazel eyes took in the scene in front of her.

"You've got a lot of balls to show up here, you inconsiderate bitch. You've been told by this family you're not welcome here but you show up anyway." Tasha closed the space between her and Jewels. "Drake doesn't want you, he made that clear the last time you showed up." Thoughts raced through her head. She couldn't think why Jewels would be there, other than to make a scene.

"Really? Because I'm entitled to do as I please. Since I'm still in the pack, I figured I would show up and pay my respects," Jewels sneered.

Tasha's fists clenched tighter, her nails digging deeper into her palms. "This is a private, invitation only wedding, and I don't recall sending you one. So, take your nasty, no good, skanky ass out of here before I'm the next one to knock you on your ass," her face glowed red with anger and hatred as her hands shook with rage. Drake stood silently behind his wife, wishing Jewels would leave before something happened.

Jewels flinched at the memory of her last encounter with Kat. She'd been humiliated, and the Alpha, the leader of the pack, let it happen. Kat punched Jewels. It wasn't something she wanted to remember. That was the day Jewels was demoted to being the Omega, the outcast of the pack.

"You won't touch me. You're too afraid you'll break a nail or you'll hurt those precious mutts inside you," Jewels mocked, gesturing toward Tasha's giant stomach. Jewels wasn't afraid of a human.

Tasha shook her head and stepped closer to Jewels' face. "You listen here. My babies aren't mutts. You can say whatever the hell you want about me, but when you bring my babies into it you won't like the outcome," she yelled. "And breaking a nail wouldn't bother me if it's broken while throwing a punch at your ugly ass face. This will be the last time I tell you to leave," she cracked her knuckles, filling the open space between her and Jewels.

Everyone had stopped talking and formed a large circle around Tasha and Jewels. All eyes were on the two women. Footsteps sounded behind Tasha; but she didn't care who it was, all she cared about was getting Jewels away from Drake.
She didn't know why Drake stood behind her, but if he wasn't going to do anything, she would.

"You don't scare me, and neither does anyone else here. I came to talk to the love of my life," Jewels replied, looking directly at Drake. "Drake, I thought about what you said the other day. I'll find out why you would give up your pure Alpha lineage for a human. She doesn't deserve you or your babies. She's just a girl from a poor family. I bet those babies aren't even yours. The one I’m pregnant with, is yours."

Tasha turned to Drake, her mouth wide open. "She's pregnant? It better not be yours Drake Williams, I swear to god I'll go back to Kentucky and you'll never see your kids," she backed away from him.
