Chapter 4 : The First Date

Their school day started on early September and now it's already mid November, autumn has come and the weather became colder. It's been three months since the last incident with Qing and Dayu. They pretended like nothing happened. The good thing is they become friendlier with each other even though it's a bit awkward for them. Yao Wang who is Dayu's cousin became friends with Wang Qing, Jing Yu, and Ye Ming. Yao Wang is a 3rd year student and apparently he has confessed to Dayu that he fell in love with Yang Ye Ming at the first sight.

Dayu is so afraid that Yao Wang might get hurt if he really fell in love with Ye Ming, because Ye Ming is the well-known straight boy in his friend list. At least Wang Qing and Jing Yu are bisexual. So if only Yao Wang liked Jing Yu, it will be a lot easier.

Dayu was patiently waiting for his brother to come to the rooftop because he said he has something important that he wants to discuss with Dayu.

"I swear if he didn't come in five minutes I will leave. It's so cold here."

Not long after, Yao Wang opened the door of the rooftop and greeted Dayu.

"Dayu... I'm sorry to make you waiting for so long. I met a friend on the way here and we talked a little."

Dayu pouted and said, "I almost became an iceman."

"Hahahaha... I'm really sorry. I'll treat you tomorrow," Yao Wang said with a grin. He loves his brother so much. "Dayu, actually I want to ask you for a help."

"What is it, ge? I'll try my best to help you if it's possible for me to do it," Dayu smiled at him and scratched his hair because it's itchy.

Yao Wang blushed and hesitantly said, "I wanna confess to Ye Ming about my feeling. What do you think?"

It was as if Dayu heard a deafening thunder that his eyes grew bigger, mouth agape, and he asked Yao Wang once again with stutter word. "Ge... ge... are you sure about this? I've told you that Ye Ming is a straight man, straight as a ruler. He never dated or had a relationship with a guy, not even just a joking flirt. I'm worried about you. Please... I don't want you to hurt yourself if he rejected you and I'm sure he will."

"But I just..." Yao Wang was looking at Dayu sadly, "Well, at least I wanna go on a date with him once. I, it's okay even though he will reject me later. Please? Help me to talk to him."

"Okay. But don't make your hopes up too high. I can't promise you that he will accept the invitation for a date either," Dayu said with a frown. His head was throbbing so hard and his stomach was feeling funny. He was worried sick for his brother.

"Yayy!! Thank you my beloved brother Dayu baby," Yao Wang hugged Dayu tightly and kissed his forehead.

"Aiyaa, stop it, ge. It's embarrassing."

"Why is it embarrassing? There is no one here," Yao Wang giggled and ruffled Dayu's hair lovingly. "Anyway, let's go back now. The lunch time is almost over. We should prepare for our next class."

"Of course, ge. Let's go."

They went out of the rooftop without knowing that there is someone else in the rooftop the entire time and heard all of their conversation.

"They are lovely cousins. If only I could have them both. It will be so great," The man smirked and yawned. He took a nap on the rooftop at lunch time and just woken up because he heard the cute sibling's conversation. He gets up, tidying his uniform, and leave his hidden spot on the rooftop.

Dayu's POV

What should I do now? I think I'm going crazy. I'll ask Ye Ming after economics class. I hope he will accept it. Just a date. Once. He should be okay with that. Even though he never does it, I wish he still has a heart to make Yao Wang gege a bit happy.
