Chapter 9 a new friend

Danny didn't know what to do, everyone was gone and he was left alone with the hell hound they call smile dog, or for short smilies. He wished he wasn't there but everything has been so confusing lately his mom and dad and Jazz acted strange before he left so maybe they knew why he was here!
It was time to feed the hell hound, took him all day but he cleaned the house. Actually looks better then it did before, YOU CAN SEE THE FLOOR! And was the living room rug always a cream color cause when he started it was brown.... Gross.
Danny got some of smiles "food" and put it in the doggy bowl and walked outside to the back yard he didn't see smiles anywhere so he put the food down and called out to him backing up slowly and looked around. "He's out here I know it he wasn't inside and I know they didn't leave with him"
Danny could hear a trot like run coming from behind and turned around almost smiling himself, 'I knew he was out here'. But it wasn't smiles.... He was tackled down with a great force , it was heavy he couldn't move. He looked up to see a naked man dog thing with sharp claws and large eyes that looked like it could steal your soul.
Danny was petrified, he didn't know what to do he struggles but fails to get lose to scared to remember he has ghost powers. He looked back at the thing ontop him and it leaned down and with a wet slobbery tough he liked Danny on the face leaving slobber on him. "So gross, let me go you ....you THING!"
He heard a growl coming from across the yard, it was smiles the hell hound. Grrrreeeeat now both of them can tare me to shreds and most likely eat me can already tell the thing already likes how I taste.
Smile dog ran towards them tackling the thing off him, Danny took in a deep breath, damn that thing was heavy. He sat up watching smile dog fight off this thing and winning, the monster ran back into the woods and Danny looked at smiles and slowly put his hand up and as smile turned towards him he jumped and pulled his hand away and smile dog just walked over to his food and started eating.
Danny having a small heart attack at the same time. "If the monsters here don't kill me pretty sure the heart attacks will" his heart was beating worse then a drum. Smile dog finished his food and walked over to Danny and put his head down by Danny's hand and whined a little, Danny looked at the dog and put his hand up slowly petting smiles on his head and smiles himself. "Thanx, you remind me of another dog I know, guess your okay too."

Latter that day the rest of the pasta people got back to the house and stopped in there tracks seeing Danny fallen asleep on the couch smile dog him his lap with Danny's hand on his back sleeping, the house was clean and smile dog actually was taking alike get to Danny.
Slender came in and picked Danny and smiles up and took them into Danny's room and laid him into bed and put smiles at his feet. He also put down on the night stand a few books and something Danny asked for before they left. Slender left them in the room and everyone made sure they staid quite for the rest of the night, probably in fear of smiles giving the, nightmares if they woke him and Danny.
