Soulmates (Hugh)

When born, you have a tattoo. That tattoo is the meaning of a soulmate. You and your soulmate have the same tattoo somewhere on their body. Yours is a bee on your wrist. But she doesn't know what the tattoo means until she goes to Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children.

You are a peculiar. You have the power to talk to animals and shape shift into animals (and other things like objects or people) and right now you are walking with a woman who you came to know as Miss Peregrine and she talked to you about peculiars and hollows and all that other stuff and she is taking you to her loop.

Your Pov**

Right know I am walking with this creepy looking woman named Miss Peregrine. She told me things about powers or what she calls it "Peculiarities". She talked about these creatures called hollows. Anyway she was taking me to her home that she calls a loop where there are more kids like me.

I always knew I had something special within me but I didn't think I had a peculiarity... or two. I can speak to animals and I can shape shift into anything I desire.

After a while, we made it to a freaking big house that was beautiful, and kinda scary. Miss Peregrine walked into the house and I heard lots of screams full of happiness Then i walked in and it got very quiet.

"Everyone this is y/n. She will be staying with us so show respect and love, be nice, and do not do anything mean." Miss Peregrine told the children.

They all nodded and smiled warmly at me and I knew that for once in my life I would feel loved.

I have been here for a few years and I love it. And I figured out that everyone here has a tattoo on there wrist for a soulmate.

Emma's tattoo is a cloud.

Enoch's tattoo is a scissors.

Millard's tattoo is a book... shocker.

Horace's tattoo is a eye, its kinda creepy.

Claire's tattoo is a smiley face.

Bronwyn's tattoo is a bow.

Fiona's tattoo is a flower.

Victor's tattoo is a weight.

But Hugh, he won't show me his. I showed him mine and he went pale and he blushed and everyone looked shocked. I don't really know why though.

{Years later}

It's been years since I came to the house and I love it. I've become very close with everyone. Especially Emma, Enoch, and surprisingly Hugh.

After he wouldn't show me his soulmate tattoo, he told me he would show me in time. I still haven't seen it.

Right now i'm sitting under a tree watching Millard and Horace play soccer. I'm surprised Horace is playing because I know he LOVES his clothes and hates getting them dirty.

I heard a buzzing sound and knew it was one of Hugh's bees. I looked at it and it told me to meet Hugh in the library and flew off.

I was kinda confused on why Hugh just didn't come and tell me. So I got up and made my way inside to the library. When I walked in, I saw Hugh sitting in one of the chairs and I walked over to him.

"Hey, you wanted to see me?" I asked him, sitting in the chair across from him.

"Hi, yes." He said looking at me. He looked... nervous?

"So what do you want to tell me?" I asked him.

"I think it's time to show you my tattoo." He said. Why would he be nervous to show me?

He pulled up his sleeve and on his wrist... was a bee. Like mine... I looked at him and he looked very nervous. I smiled very big and jumped at him, hugging him. I was happy that my soulmate was one of my closes friends.

"Oh Hugh, why were you nervous to show me?" I asked him looking at him.

"I didn't want you to, um, be disgusted." he said looking down.

"Why would I be disgusted?" I asked him.

"Because look at me, I am not very attractive, I have bees living inside of me, I-" I interrupted him by kissing his soft, plump lips. He was shocked at first but then relaxed into the kiss and wrapped his arms around me like i was going to leave him. After what felt like 5 minutes there was this thing called air that we needed so we broke apart and put our foreheads together.

"Hugh, I would never be disgusted with you. Not only are you my soulmate, but my bestfriend. I would never leave you." I said looking at him. He smiled at me and pulled me into a slow. soft kiss full of love.

I'm glad that Hugh is my soulmate.

A/N- I know I said I would update a while back but I have been very busy! don't worry though, I will start writing more AND I MIGHT WRITE ANOTHER BOOK! A HARRY POTTER PREFERENCE/IMAGINE BOOK!
