Chapter 30: The Final Battle

David POV

"What the hell was that for?", Ranseim asked pertaining to my act that I suddenly ran away from battle to answer Cheska's call.

"Umm.. its a call of girlfriend. Hehe. Sorry, Ranseim. Thanks for covering.", I scratched my head and he smiled. Both of us were suffering from injuries but an Archangel were healing us from afar.

The other Archangels were so busy fighting the Six demons especially Beelzebub and Satan so they couldn't assist us too much.

Me and Ranseim could tell that Lucifer wasnt even taking us seriously. He wasnt even using the 10% of his power.

That Dragon slowly woke up and roared. It send massive destructions and it took all my strength to stay in one place.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!", laughed Lucifer. "BEHOLD! THE PROOF THAT I AM A GOD!! THE GREAT DRAGON BAHAMUT, THE DESTROYER OF EVERYTHING!!"

Bahamut roared and send many powerful blast of flames on every corner of the Earth!

"Archangel Metraton! What should we do?!", I asked.

Then Beelzebub started attacking him again, "Darn it! David and Ranseim! One of you must stop Bahamut no matter what!! Stop him at all cost!!"

Then Bahamut formed a very powerful fire ball on its mouth. I braced myself for the impact but it failed when White Thunders hit him and he fell backwards with a roar.

"I'LL TAKE CARE OF BAHAMUT!! DAVID, TAKE CARE OF LUCIFER AND END THIS! WE HAVE FAITH IN YOU!!", he shouted as he slashed Bahamut with his Excalibur sword.

I faced Lucifer and glared at him. I grit my teeth from anger. I gripped my swords tightly.

"Whats wrong, Dark Angel? Is it my fault that you Heavenly ones are weak?", he smiled.

"No, BUT ITS YOUR FAULT FOR DESTROYING THE DREAMS OF THE PEOPLE YOU KILLED!! I'LL NEVER.", a thunderclap boomed. "EVER FORGIVE YOU!!"

He shifted his sword and emitted dark aura. "Humph. You're all bark and no bite! Bring it!!"

I roared and bombarded him with swift attacks combined with thunderbolts. He was parrying them with little effort.

"Your attacks are easy to read, Angel.", said Lucifer as he was suddenly beside me. He slashed my back and I shouted from pain.

"DAVID!!", shouted someone. Darn it. It was a powerful blow. Then Lucifer went in front of me and showered me with slashes.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!", I shouted from pain as I could not move my body away from him. "DARN YOU!"
