The frozen darkness

Book hunt starts.......

"Hey guys, you heard that announcement?" I exclaimed. "Yup, can you seriously believe there will be some sort of book like that in our library?," asked Ashlin. 

Ashlin is like one of the bookworms in our class. She almost knows every book in the library. Even I used to get surprised at times when she takes out some book which I never thought existed." Actually its better to confirm it rather of thinking and scratching your head out", Selene added. 

Talking about Selene, she is epic.  She has this amazing voice and great speaking skills, though she never utilizes it.  Sometimes I think she has the capability to fight for humanity. 

"When it comes to finding a book, we depend on you, Ashlin." I commented. Now coming to the exact point, it's not just three of us but seven. It's like a cocktail when we are all together.A splash of different personalities.

 I actually like today's topic: the magical book, you are not kidding me. If it was Harry Potter or Percy Jackson I would believe.

 "Um.. you seriously believed it. I could find any other book except for this one and I am actually in the middle of a book, so no way I'm coming with you guys" Ashlin declared.

 Selene looked really angry like she was some werewolf who wants to pounce on her but she controlled took a deep breath, murmured something under her breath and she said "Listen, dude, just sitting around and reading a book while  having an adventurous hunt put in front of you is lame. We need something  exciting like this book hunt".

 "But seriously, a book hunt, by the time we would reach there the whole school will be in the library. They all heard the announcement and everyone is excited just like us" I said. Selene gave me a warning look, right I was supposed to support her .

" In some point of view she is right" Ashlin said as she read her book. She didn't take her eyes away from the book.

 "Girls you heard that" let me guess, I know this voice.....Cadence. My eco- friendly environmentalist friend. Her hands were muddy and her dress was partially destroyed. Talking about her ,she loves plants and sometimes forces us to do the same thing. I do follow her when I have time, I can't always go out. 

" You are late," I said.

 " I am not late, its just that I was busy" she protested.

 "Shut up you both!".

 " Wow! What's wrong with Selene?" Cadence whispered. I finished my answer in a line" shh....." " Ashlin, you are being too adamant," Selene said. I tried to calm down Selene but she was too angry. I walked towards Ashlin, sat near her and took her book away. " Give it back Zelda!". "Why should I? We are fighting over here and you are reading a book" I think I was harsh towards her, after all, she is my BFF and I can't hurt her. 

She glanced at me and then the others. She held her wrists tight, bit her lips and spoke up" I said it once. Give it back Zel-"

 " Sup, guys, Katy got a new guy" Amy interrupted.

 "Where is Cheryl?" Cadence asked.

 " She is busy with that cycle, she is gonna do something with it" Amy replied. Amy looked at me, Ashlin and Selene in confusion. We looked like a pack of hungry wolves.

 First, wait, let me tell you about Amy.  She is loving and sensitive. I like her. Guess what she wants to be an assassin. Then comes Katy, the goddess of love. She gets a new boy each and every time. Cheryl is our group mechanic.
