Okay guys, I know I took a lot of 'breaks' between these last few chapters. I sincerely apologize.

Chapter 30 people and also the final chapter. This story sparked in the hallways of my old school. Where I myself graduated. I'm glad I made something of it. The road was long but It amounted to something.

The pic is of Landon (I know i usually put the whole gang up but people change)

The video link is 'Friends Forever' by Vitamin C (Corny but so what. Sue me!)

“You should go home now. It’s getting late.” I said as I watched Adrian yawn. I smiled at how adorable he looked.

“No, I can stay a while longer.” He shook his head.

“Are you tired?” He shook his head again and then yawned for the second time.

“You can sleep in the guest room. I can’t let you drive in this state.” I got up and put our glasses in the sink. “I’ll call your mom for you okay? I’ll be back in a second.”

I walked off down the hallway and called Adrian’s mom. It would have been better if he called her himself but his mom seemed to like me. When I got back to the lounge, Adrian was asleep on the sofa. He was snoring softly and I chuckled at that.

“Adrian, you need to wake up. I can’t carry you.” I said. I shook his shoulder.

“Yes, I’m up.” He got up and followed me upstairs. “It’s insane that I couldn’t just sleep on the sofa.”

“My aunt would be mad that there was a bed available and I let you sleep on a sofa.” I watched as he went into the guest room and sat down on the bed. “You should sleep, you did a lot today.”

“Who knew that picking out a graduation suit would be so difficult?” He asked.

“It serves you right. I told you to go last month, not one week before the day.” I smirked. I walked forward and pushed him to lie down. “Go sleep.”

“I ask myself sometimes what I did to deserve you.” He was starting to slur a bit. “Whatever it was, I’m thankful. I love you, Evelyn.”

“I love you too. Now go sleep.” I took his shoes off and covered him with a blanket.

“Evelyn?”

“Yea?”

“I don’t want to leave.” He whispered. The way he said made it sound like a secret that no one but us should hear. “I can’t.”

“You’ll come back.” I leaned down and kissed him on his forehead. “Sleep now.”

I walked to the door and shut it before returning to my own room. I didn’t want Adrian to leave either. I really didn’t. I couldn’t say it though, if I did adrian would stay. He’d give up his future for me. I couldn’t let him do that. I’d catch up and we’d be together again. I could wait.

“Freddy! What did you do with my grey striped tie!” I yelled from my room down the stairs.

“There is no need to shout, Landon.” Freddy said coming up the stairs. “I hung it on the tie rack in your closet.”

“I didn’t see it there.” I said. I watched as Freddy walked to my closet and pulled out the exact tie I had been looking for a few seconds prior. “I really didn’t see it.”
