Look good, not feel

Kim has been coming to check on me for about 3 weeks now. I haven't been coming out my room unless I have to eat or something.

Roc has also been coming up, but I won't let him in. Every now and then he'll sit by my door and talk to me. I don't answer back though.

I guess Kim told him I knew. Roc has apologized multiple times. By multiple I mean every singe day.

"Do you need anything babe?" Kim came and sat beside me. I shook my head. "You look horrible Saph." I turned to her. My face was streaked with dried up years. "You don't think I know that Kim? I've tried picking my self up. Nothing works." I turned my head back to the other side, looking out the port. Tears streamed down again.

"Here." Kim reached out her hand intending for me to grab on. "What," I asked? "Grab it," she said firmly. "Kim listen, I don't wan---." She grabbed my hand and yanked me up. I resisted a little, till I couldn't stand it.

She dragged me to the bathroom and made me wash my face and brush my teeth. Kim dug in her bag for a smaller bag. She opened the bag to revel a lot of makeup. "Sit still." Kim did my makeup for about a good 10 minutes. "All done." She turned my around I the mirror. I had to say I did look good, but I still didn't feel good.

"We're getting out this room." Kim reached for her stuff. I chuckled a little,"You mean, YOUR getting out this room." Kim shook her head and finger.

She literally put me, screaming and kicking, on her back and out the door. Kim didn't put me down till we were in the elevator. "I hate you so much Kim." "That's the pain talking Hun."

The elevator doors opened and Prince stepped in. "Hey Saph! Long time no see!!" He gave me a big hug. Kim motioned for me to smile. Not happening. "You coming to the meeting," he asked? I shook me head,"Actually we're going to e--." "Yeah we're coming right now," Kim butted in! I turned to her with my eyes big. She did a kind of fake smile.

"Saph! You decided to join us!" Mariah walked over and gave me a hug. I nodded actually smiling this time. It did kind of feel better being back in here. "Glad to have you back."

I searched the room looking at all the familiar faces. Then it hit me. Roc. He noticed me and started walking over. Kim stood between us. "It's not a good time Roc." "Let me talk to her." Roc motioned for me to tell Kim to move. I just stood there. "Saph I know you can hear me. I'm sorry. Can I just talk to you?" I shook my head and went and sat down.

The rest of the meeting was awkward. Roc wouldn't stop looking at me and trying to get my attention. "Okay one more week you guys!" Mariah dismissed us.

Roc caught up to me and kind of pulled me away from the group. I screamed loudly an hard. "Dammit Saph listen to me. Now that you screamed I have like 10 seconds. I'm soo--." "Stick Roc. I could care less." Kim ran over and grabbed me. "Are you okay?" I nodded and started walking away with her.

Roc threw his hat on the ground making a loud THUMP.

I looked back one more time to see Roc on the ground crying.
