Shiro's POV

I couldn't see anything. All I saw was black after she left. Everyone was shouting and looking for each other despite being in the same room.

"Just wait for it to wear off." says a familiar voice behind me. Yata. I hear him stand up and walk by me until he reaches the door.

"Or step outside, the sunlight will get it out, trust me... she's done it before."

The door shuts, meaning Yata had left. Everyone steps outside and looks up at the sun, soon after we were all able to see. Everyone was dumbfounded. For the rest of the day everybody was busy trying to track her down. Anna could track her down, or so we thought. The minute she put her marbles on the map, they all rolled around for about 30 seconds and then fell to the floor. We couldn't track her down.  Anna picked up her marbles one by one.

"She canceled my magic some how. There's no possible way she could have."

"Unless there's another king we don't know of." Suggested Munakata.

"While that may be possible, I would know, I have studied the slate for years, and usually when there's a new king there is a sign when it's power is given to someone else. Like I said, it might be possible, but highly unlikely."

Munakata simply smiled.

"I agree with Munakata. We aren't thinking about the other possibilities." Said Anna.

"What do think it is?"

"There could be another slate that we don't know of."

The statement shocked everybody. This meant that there were an entire set of other kings that could hold the same abilities, this would explain why she was able to cast that blinding spell, along with the magic that canceled out Anna's magic.

"If that's true, there could be a huge crisis on our hands. We need to get more information "

"We could always apprehend that girl," Said Munakata, "But we wouldn't get as much information that way. But from what I saw...  Yata seems to know a lot about her magic and where she got it. We can start with him first."

"We can't interrogate him, he is after all apart of Homera. Please, let me do the questioning." Said Anna.

Munakata and I both nodded.

"Of course" I said.

Everyone left Homera and we went our different ways.  We walked on top of the bridge, I walked in silence, we all did, contemplating the past events.  This was impossible. There  can't be another slate, that's too much power for one world.

If it falls into the wrong hands, it could be the extinction of humanity. I just hope she knows how to put her powers to good use. If they even do come from a slate.
