Chapter 4: The Forbidden Lovers

Vladimir's P.O.V

When I woke up with Henry that annoying bug was still running in the back of my head thinking, that is till I smell the breakfast, the good kind too.  Me and Henry ran downstairs and began eating immediately.  As I grab a packed of O positive I started to remember yesterday at Wicked's party, he smile was still the same but less cheerful, I cant blame her for not liking Meredith.  But she supports me to try dating since...we can't be together.  Being a Damphyr is one thing but I don't want it to take my life away...specifically my love life.  As I think my aunt Nelly came by my side gently placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Vladimir? Are you alright?" Nelly asked in worry.

I jumped and just nodded as I went to go sit at the table and eat her homemade cinnamon buns, and these things are to "die" for. Henry on the other hand had some eggs and bacon but was still moody from me hitting his face cause of that stupid fly. My mind though however won't get off about Wicked...Henry could tell as I ate and of course tried to tease me about it.

"So...did you called Meredith?" He grinned.

I instantly choke on my bun and looked up.

"Y-Yeah I had...why?", I asked.

"Did you at least tried to talk to her dude?" he questioned.

I wasn't in the mood to talk about this. 

"Just drink your juice man" I said to him.

Immediately he did so without saying anything. I don't like controlling Henry, it's the one thing I don't like when you have your personal Drudge. He's my friend and as much as I hate to control him like that, he just gets to a point where I just want him to shut up. Other than being annoyed I came with another idea and thought about inviting Wicked over to play some games, and maybe find time to talk about Monday...back to school. Being a freshman is something I'm not looking forward too knowing that those two bullies are going to be there again and probably going to harass me once more. But I feel it's going to be different this year, after meeting Wicked things just feel different whenever we're together. So who knows what can happen this year?

Meanwhile after Nelly left me and Henry left to head to Wicked house, we hoping her grandfather wasn't around. From what uncle Otis told me was that he and the prophecy was the reason he didn't wanted me and Wicked together, but even he wasn't going to stop me from trying. When we got to the place me and Henry gather some small pebbles and threw it at her window. Soon we saw a shadow and realize it was her as she open the window and peeked out smiling. She honestly looked looked cute in her nightgown.

"Vlad what are you doing here?" she asked.

Soon Henry started to speak.

"We wanted to invite you to Vlad's place!" Henry smiled.

Had to take my glory! But I knew why...after all he does know he is my Drudge.

"I-I don't know...my grandfather might not want me to go..." Wicked said as she pouts.

I tried to think of a excuse but I couldn't, that is until I heard Wicked speaks once more.

"But I'll see what I can do" she whispered while closing her window carefully while she leaves our view.

Me and Henry waited at the stop sign hoping that her grandfather didn't see us. As we waited we heard running footsteps behind us as we turn around and see Wicked running towards us.

"Hey! I manage to get out, apparently grandfather left with an errand!" she said as smiled.

"So what are we waiting for? Let's go play some video games already!" Henry screams with excitement and starts marching back home.

Wicked and I followed behind as we both secretly held each others hands, feeling that pure warmth once more. Soon after Wicked smiled.

"Let me guess...Race to Armageddon 2?", she snickered.

I raised my brows with surprised.

"how did you know?" I asked.

And with that pure smile she says, "lets just say it was a 'hunch'~ ".
