As soon as I told Jace that Police Chief Watts told us "Turn on the lights".
Jace flicked on the lights and sirens waited for the cars and said " Hold on babe."
I grabbed onto the handle and Jace floored it big time and I mean BIG TIME.
"Jace!?" I yelled.
"I said hold on now didn't I!" He yelled back.
Quickly before I dropped my phone I texted Chief and dropped my phone.
" I swear Jace Old Blue can't take much more of this!" I say.
"Trust me I've gone faster for longer in Old Blue." Jace said.
I rolled my eyes and he laughed. Worry started to settle in my brain. Jace held my hand reassuring me everything is gonna be okay. Then as soon as I was good,police lights went off. I thought it was Xian and Jace just kept his foot on the pedal still flooring.
"Pull over NOW!" I heard.
Jace's eyes widen as him and Xian were pulled over . I mumble under my breath frustrated. Not paying attention Jace slapped me on the shoulder.
"Huh?" I say.
"Badge." Jace said.
I got out my purse and searched for it. When I didn't find it I looked in my suitcase. Pulling everything I had out of my suitcase I still didn't find it. When I remembered Police Chief Watts had my badge.
" Chief has my badge remember he had to make me one." I said calmly.
"Out of the car little girl." The Police Officer said.
"Sky..." Jace said.
"Just go Chief will call once you tell him." I calmed him.
The officer tapped his truck and Jace sped off and Xian followed.
