I catch her before she hits the ground. She is so beautiful. But that wild look in her eyes... something must have happened to her in these woods. I cradle her in my arms and start heading to my house. I have no idea who she is or how she got here. I finally see my house in the distance and sigh with relief. I unlock the door and carry her inside. I kick the door shut and lay her down on the sofa. Who on earth is she? She rolls over and starts shivering. I run to my room and pull my blanket off the bed to cover her with. When I get back her eyes are open and she looks like she's been through hell. "Are you alright?" I ask. She just shakes her head. I cover her with the blanket and hold her hand. "It's alright. You're safe. Nothing will happen to you here." She seems to calm down a little and lies back down. Within minutes she is asleep. I gently stroke her hair. She is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. But how the heck did she get those scars? I decide to take her to the hunting lodge tomorrow. Maybe Ron can fix her up. And who would find her if I took her to a doctor? I don't know who she is, who is looking for her, and I don't even know her name. But nothing and no one will hurt her if I'm here. "I promise." I whisper. "I love you. And no one will ever hurt you."
