Stupid math.

College is fantastic. I love NYU with all my heart. The classes, the teachers, the students, the FRIGGIN CITY. I love hanging with my friends on campus. I mean, technically the entire city is kind of our campus, but there's this one park all the students hang out in. It's so pretty. Junior year is definitely the best yet.

But math and I have always had a love/hate relationship, and college hasn't changed that a bit. Even hanging out on the gorgeous campus in the middle of a beautiful June day.

Screw this.

I push away my math, and reached for my English paper instead.

That's a no brainer.

3 years ago, the summer I was in England, I met One Direction. It all started when Louis Tomlinson's decision to propose to his girlfriend Eleanor Calder and......that's another story. Like one that could take up an entire 25 chapter book. But nonetheless, it was the most amazing experience ever. Living there was incredible, I made 7 new friends, and me and my besties had the most amazing senior year ever, topped off by the wedding. I even met my boyfriend Jonah there. He's one of Louis's cousins.

My phone buzzes.

OliveBBY: Miss you babe! Allies coming home for summer, hb a mini reunion??

MadsGirl108: OMG YES!!! You text Allie + Seth, I got Bridget and Emma.

I really miss my friends. We all split after high school. Seth went to Marlboro. Olivia got accepted to RISD for photography. Bridget applied for and got a scholarship to Yale to study law. And Emma stayed home cause she got a full ride to Umass. With the exception of Allie and me, everyone was still in New England. Allie had decided to take a year abroad in London, so she could be close to Niall, her boyfriend.

Lucky her.

The sound of a piano makes me look up from my work.

Across the park, a baby grand piano sits, being played by one of the guys in my civics class. I recognize the melody. And then I hear them singing.
