I was re-reading "The Danger of Being in Love", and although I love the story line, I don't like my writing so much. I'm not going to delete it, because I've had a couple of authors who's works I've loved delete their stories and it sucked. So I'm going to kind of reinvent my story. As I edit, I might change plot points or characters or whatever, so if you want to re-read it, that'd be awesome (and also probably helpful in understanding the storyline in this book).

Eleanor's P.O.V.
"Morning love."
I blink, and sit up to see sunlight streaming through Maddy's dorm room. Louis insisted I go back to sleep after she left, and I wasn't about to argue.
"Mmm...what time is it?"
"Quarter after ten. You want breakfast? There's cereal."
"Okay."
In the kitchen, there's bowls of Rice Krispies set out, and even a little jar of flowers. As we sit down to eat, I'm thinking about what Simon told me yesterday-which wasn't much-and what Maddy this morning.
"So...what are we supposed to do?" Like, do we have to stay completely underground, hidden, no contact ever? Or is it more like we've conveniently disappeared but no one can prove it?" I'm guessing Uncle Si told Louis more than he did me.
"Mmm....I'm not sure. I mean, I know we're going to have to hidden to a certain extent. That was kind of the point of the whole "last-minute-flight-to-America" thing.
I snort. "Right. I totally blanked on that."
Louis just smirks at me, then his face turns serious. "I'm really glad you're okay babe."
"Me too"

Maddy's P.O.V.
"Oh hell no."
"Oh hell yes" my iPhone replies.
I glare at Simon through the face time continuum.
Ha, I'm so hilarious I should write a book.
Back to the present matter.
It's taken me 45 minutes to get from Olivia's apartment to this "underground headquarters" of Simon's, which is essentially an underground warehouse. You know, if the warehouse hadn't seen the light of day in a good 50 odd years.
"Seriously Simon? How do you expect me to turn this place livable with no outside help whatsoever? You're not even letting Louis and Eleanor help."
"Maddy, remember. They've just been through a, some might say, unfortunate series of events."
As the joke registers, I let out a snicker before returning to my previous scowl."
"Yeah, and I'm not stressed? With finals coming up and trying to manage a social life along, with hiding one of the worlds most famous pop star and his wife? Yeah, my life's cherry pie, sorry I forgot Simon, thanks for reminding me!"
Simon lets out a deep laugh, then turns serious again.
"This is a vastly important job Maddy, and you agreed to it. We're not making you pay any money, and we're even covering your living expenses so you don't have to work anymore."
"Yeah, giving up my job at B&N was a real relief." I mutter. Simon prattles on, either he didn't hear my comment, or doesn't care. Probably the latter.
Well, at least it's clean down here. Dry and all that. There's even a couple of space heaters plugged into outlets. Where the electricity is coming from is anyones guess. It's actually not too bad here, and with some work it could actually be quite nice. The real challenge is going to be getting Louis and Eleanor down her without anyone finding out about them.
Although I'm sure Simon has something planned out for that too.
