"I'm so excited to see your new apartment!" Jimin said happily, while him and Taehyung walked down the hallway. Taehyung cringed a bit as he remembered what had happened in this hallways just a couple weeks ago. Jimin swung their hands as they walked down.
Yes, they were holding hands. They have been best friends since they were 8 years old, so they are naturally really close. Taehyung hands were really big compared to Jimin's small fingers, so he had a harder time clasping around them. They were super soft though. Taehyung wondered if he used lotion.
Once they got to the apartment, Taehyung fumbled with his keys to open the door, it being a little hard with his hand still holding Jimin's. He chuckled when he finally did it.
"Welcome home Tae-" Jungkook said, turning from the couch to see the two boys in front of him.
"H-Hi.." The shorter boy said. Jungkook looked at him for a minute and noticed their hands.
They are holding hands? L-Like a couple?
"I-I'm Jungkook. Nice to - um - meet you." He said simply.
"You too! I'm Jimin." At this point, the two boys completely forgot about their hands.
"You must be Taehyung's boyfriend." Jungkook stated, crossing his arms. He wanted clarification.
The two boys noticeably froze up. Jimin blushed red.
"N-No! We are just friends!" Taehyung quickly explained, waving both of his hands in front of himself, letting go of Jimin's. Jimin frowned at this comment and the loss of touch a bit. Only Jungkook noticed this.
"Okay. Well, I'll see you guys later! I gotta go grocery shopping!" Jungkook said, grabbing his keys and walking out the door with a bit more pep in his step.
"So we are just friends?"Jimin asked sternly.
"W-well- I just didn't want to give him the wrong idea and-" Taehyung started but was interrupted.
"Did a decade of being together- living together- not even that could even make us something more. A decade for what? 'Just friends?'" He said.
Taehyung felt himself tear up. He hated yelling; it hurt his ears and it scared him.
"I-I'm sorry.." He whimpered. His ears dipped down as he shrunk in fear.
"Did it never cross your mind that maybe I wanted to be more than friends?" Jimin yelled again and walked out the door.
Taehyung stood sobbing.
What did he mean by that? They were already best friends. What could be more than that? Mega Best Friends?
Taehyung sat on the couch and cried as hard as he had ever cried. He hoped and prayed that he didn't lose his best friend.
Not long later, about 45 minutes, Jungkook came home. Taehyung was still crying on the couch as he ate ice cream and watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
"I'm home! Hey where's that Jimin dud- Tae?" Jungkook said, walking in. He saw Taehyung from the back and could tell that his shoulders bobbed up and down as he sobbed and coughed every once in a while.
Jungkook walked in front of the couch to see a weeping Taehyung.
"TaeTae, what happened?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung just shook his head and cried harder.
"Was it that Jimin guy? I'll kill him.." Jungkook trailed off as he sat down on the couch and held Taehyung as he cried.

"Oh Taehyung.." Jungkook said as he pulled the boy closer to his chest, putting all his love into his hug. Taehyung noticeably snuggled into him.
To Jungkook's surprise, the latter started purring and eventually fell asleep. Jungkook felt him vibrating a bit from the purrs and his tears finally dried. Jungkook fell asleep as well and they spent the night like this.
