7. Fixing

Taehyung was getting dressed for work when he heard the doorbell ring. He walked over hesitantly, checking the peephole, scared of someone him like this. He didn't look presentable. He had half of his eye makeup done and his hair was a mess. Oh- and he was a man in a dress.

He was surprised when he saw Jimin through the peephole. He opened the door frantically.

"H-Hi!" Taehyung said, hiding his excitement.

"Hey. I just wanted to say sorry for yelling at you. I just.... I think I like you Taehyung..." Jimin said. After he said that, it looked as if a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

Taehyung was shocked, to say the least. His hyung was always friendly and did lots of skinship, but Taehyung would've never put this together.

"I-I- umm- okay? I don't- uh..." Taehyung let random words fall out of his mouth. He looked at Jimin, who was staring at his lips. Suddenly, the shorter went on his tip-toes and pecked Taehyung. They both blushed deeply.

Taehyung didn't know how to feel about this. He didn't want to hurt Jimin's feelings, but he wasn't sure if he liked the older that way. He had to make a choice.

"I wish that you would like me and I truly hope that we could be together, but I can see in your eyes that you don't care for me..." Jimin said solemnly, knowing rejection was coming soon to a theater near him.

"N-No, Jimin. I think we should try dating. I-I think I like you too." Taehyung lied, playing with his dress and looking at his feet. Jimin knew he was lying too, since the many years they spent together, he had picked up the other's habits.

Ways to tell if  Taehyung is lying:
1. Plays with shirt
2. Avoids eye contact
3. Stutters

Check. Check. Check.

Jimin still wanted this, though. Maybe he could make the hybrid love him by being a good boyfriend- no- a great boyfriend.

"Really? I'm so glad. I'll pick you up afted work and we can go out to dinner?" Jimin stated and asked at the same time. Taehyung nodded and Jimin left.

Once the door closed, Taehyung let out a big sigh and held his head in his hand.

"What am I going to do?" Taehyung thought out loud. The situation was 100 times more complicated. Either way, his relationship with Jimin would change drastically. If  Taehyung had denied Jimin, they would be very awkward around eachother. Now that he said yes, he would probably make Jimin feel even worse abour being broken up with, thinking that it is his fault, that he wasn't a good enough boyfriend.

Taehyung made a mistake.

He made a big mistake.
