Chapter 10

Kenzie's POV:

I slowly walked back over to my spot next to Johnny. Did I really want to watch this movie? When I had first seen the movie was when Maddie had her best friend, Lilia Buckingham, over for a sleepover.

{Flashback}

I made a bet with Maddie that if I could sit and watch the entire horror movie, The Conjuring, she would pay me $100! I was so going to prove her wrong since she obviously didn't think I could do it!

As the movie started a dramatic song started to play. It was only the first minute of the movie and just with the effects and sound it was already quite creepy.

5 minutes later

This movie sucks. It's too scary!! I was trying not to burst into tears, I couldn't take it! I held my breath.

"Let it go Kenz" Maddie says. I nod in the action to say no.

I wonder how many nightmares I'll have tonight.

Thats it. I burst out crying.

"No more $100 for you Kenz!" Laughs Maddie. How does Mads handle movies this scary?!

{End of Flashback}

"Johnny, I don't do horror movies" I explain.

"Yeah John, don't force her if she doesn't want to" Lauren says, sticking up for me.

"Can we just finish Pitch Perfect?" I say.

"You have to trust me, if we're going to be a thing, we need to have trust in each other" Johnny says.

"Johnny!" Lauren hisses.

"N-no he's right Lauren, it's just a movie"

{End of Movie}

"Are you still scared?" Asks Johnny.

"Duh, it's a horror movie, but I will admit, I'm not as scared as I used to be" I answer.

"Ew, you guys are so cringey! Stop!" Lauren laughs cheekily.

We're continue talking until Laurens mum comes in and interrupts us.

"You girls better get to sleep, you have dance tomorrow remember?" She says.

"Yep!" Lauren and I reply in unison.

Johnny leaves the room and I quickly flick through my social media.

I'm immediately hurt when I check my Instagram. I had been flooded with rude comments.

Lauren was also on her phone. She must've noticed all the hate.

"Oh Kenz.." She whispers. "I'm sorry"

"It's not your fault" I say. Now that Hayden and Annie are a thing people are starting to say some not very nice things.

"Kenz, you are so fake, look how happy Hayden is with Annie, you and Hayden were never real" I say reading out one of the comments.

"They don't know what they're doing" Laur says.

Silence.

"You know.. if you want to make Hayden mad you could always tell the public that you and John are thing.." Laur suggests.

I smirk. That could work.

"Tomorrow" I say as a lift my blankets to cover me. "But for now lets get some rest"

"You're right" Lauren says. "Goodnight"

"Night" I reply.

Haydens POV:

The salty air drifted up my nose. The waves were beautiful and glassy.

I was on a date with my new girlfriend, Annie. We were having a picnic near the rocks.

"To our 7th date!" I say raising up my glass of coke.

"To our 7th date!" Annie replies, also holding up her glass of coke.

After our toast, Annie gets up.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"You'll see" She says doing an aerial. Of course always with the gymnastics. I laugh.

She continues to do stunts like back flips and back handsprings. Immediately I have a flashback of when Mackenzie used to tumble at the beach.

{Flashback}

"Truth or dare" Asks Kenz.

"Umm dare!" I reply.

"I dare you to attempt a back handspring!" She says full of energy.

"k whatever, if I get injured, I will sue you!" I say laughing.

"I'll spot you" she suggests. The sand in between my toes was burning because of the hot summers day.

"ok, go!" She yells

"Ok, Ok I surrender! I'm not doing it!" I say. Mackenzie and I had a deal that if we forfeit we have to run into the water. I start running past her, as I do I grab her by the wrist and bring her into the water with me. Laughing, I splash her with water as she does the same.

"I hate you!" She yells.

"Awe I love you too!" I say bringing her into a hug.

{End of Flashback}

I made this chapter a bit longer by adding 2 POV's into it!

I also mixed it up a bit by adding Hayden's POV.

Also if you get offended if I make it as if Annie sounds rude and bratty, I know she isn't in real life, this is just a story, irl Annie is amazing, talented, and sweet.

I know that the #Kayden and #Hannie drama is dragging on loads and I just wanted to say that Kenzie nor Annie deserves any of the hate they are getting lately. Also if your wondering who I ship its #Jenzie and #Hannie btw lol.
