Nerve

The Dare

"Kiss me? Hold on mate, are you joking?" Destiny asked.
"I'm not even fucking kidding," Kate said.
"Well, things escalated quickly!" Destiny exclaimed.
"Definitely," Kate said.

"What's the cash price?" Destiny asked.
"It's $12,000 bills," Kate answered.
"Holy Shit!" Destiny said shockingly.
"You aren't actually considering me doing this, are you?" Kate questioned.

"Accept the dare! Go for it!," Destiny said.

Kate looked at her phone, and back and Destiny. She questioned herself. Should I do this? Time was running out. 5 seconds left to accept the dare. Time was dying quickly. She buckled under the pressure, she accepted the dare.

Watchers started pouring in. Everyone basically forced her to do the dare. People around her started recording it live on Nerve.
She had to make a decision. She had 7 seconds to complete a dare.

She finally bent over the table and kissed Destiny.

"Uhm, yea, I-I have nothing to say," Destiny said embarrassingly.
"It says I completed the dare," Kate said.
"Umm, well that's great for you! We should probably head home," Destiny said.

Kate reaches in her pocket, only to find that her house keys are missing.

"My keys! T-There gone!" Kate cried.
"You probably left them at Andrew's house," Destiny suggested.
"Ugh, you're right! Okay, you should head home. I'll go to Andrew's house," Kate said.

"Okay, I'll go," Destiny said.

Both run in opposite directions. It took Kate a while, but she made it, right in time!

She knocks on Andrew's door.
Andrew answers it.

"Oh, hey Kate. Why are you here again?" Andrew asked.
"I left my house keys here! Do you have them?" Kate asked

Andrew pulls out Kate's house keys.

"You mean these keys?" Andrew questioned.
"Thanks, Andrew" Kate said.
"No problem!" Andrew said.

Kate grabbed her keys and ran home. When she got there, she ran right into her room and jumped right in her bed.

She sighed.

If I continue on with this game, I will get hurt. But, I will also become really wealthy, and I could provide for my family. I'm not sure. Should I continue? Or should I stop?

I guess I'll continue. Nothing bad can happen right?

Kate sighs and lies on her side. She closes both if her eyes to fall asleep. But, she can't. She's cant believe that she kissed Destiny today. She wants this day to end, but she can't sleep.

She stays up all night, and her alarm buzzes off.
