Twin Promise

Her phone lights up with a new notification makes its way through her screen "She's late" she said as she kept on tapping her old mascot character keychain while making a pouting face. Several masked people come and go on her panorama view, people she doesn't know, people she doesn't get along to, people she rather forget. 

Her phone lights up again but this time, it's for her 'Where are you?' are written with a cute font and an emoticon. Words that are not fit for someone who is making a person wait for hours. As she asked her partner if she would make her wait any longer, someone tapped her shoulder from behind. "Hey Friend~ Sorry I'm late~" Sincerity doesn't appear on her face. 

As the girl make a pouting face, her friend asked, "Where are we going?" she answered with an impish smile "I found a new game~"

A man sits alone at a darkened room using his monitor as lamplight. Resting his back on his chair as he cursed the world, looking at his dead ingame character, asking himself if he had any talent in this. But of course, his voice was absorbed by his thick walls which is specifically made so that sound and the cold will never escape, except if you open the only door leading to the cursed outside world that is. 

Losing interest, he just explore the digital world using his mouse and his keyboard as his media, nothing interesting today it seems. He remember seeing a news about politicians taking over the world last week and he thought it was interesting, only to find out that it was just a rumor. "Too bad" he whispered. 

He really thinks that it would be interesting, at least a better alternative compared to what he is doing right now. Going home, playing games, updating his blog, a never ending mobius strip, a series of boring events, and personally, he's getting sick of it. "But talking is more troublesome." Well, it can't be helped right? Let's continue pretending to be alive. 

His computer clock informed him that it's almost afternoon after taking a short glimpse from it, he might hate the crowd but he cannot involve his tragedy to his studies. So he went outside, reluctantly.

"Kyaa!" She screamed after jumping a few centimeters from her current position, a dog is openly showing his hostility. She's well aware that dogs are territorial animals, remembering what she read on that blog really helps, as long as she'll avoid overstaying, she'll be safe. 

Searching for a particular house she consulted her phone, phones nowadays are convenient, with apps like this she'll never get lost~ ahaha~ although she doesn't know how to read maps. Because reading maps is not a part of their curriculum. How would she know right? But that won't justify her current situation. 

Okay how can I find it? She thought asking for other people about directions but she's not familiar with the neighborhood. Her family used to live here in fact, I wonder if I'll find someone I know. Swiping and tapping on her phone as she search for any help she can use to reach her destination. 

She almost gave up, it's already been three days after she started. At first she used landmarks, finding places she found on his blog but she only found a few of them, in fact she only found two. Yes, two! Out of those dozens of posts, she only found two! How is that even possible!? So she threw away the idea of using such tactic and used an app instead. 

"But I don't know how to read a map!" 

Shouting on her phone definitely didn't help, why don't you try talking at least? Actually it would be creepy if her phone suddenly started talking. "No choice then," and that's how she ended up in this unbelievable situation. Well let's go home for now, let's try again tomorrow. 

The girl in a fancy dress walked as she thanked the whole world because she only attends the morning class, she will never had a chance to do this information gathering if she's attending the afternoon class.
