A Princess Story

Her hair rustle as a gentle wind blows. She swiped her bangs and lift the small teacup to her subtle lips "It's delicious" she said. Her butler then approached with a tray to place the empty teacup on it, and replaced it with a book. 

She then decided to stop taking a break and continued reading. The rays of the sun from the gaps on the leaves hit her face "it is a beautiful day is it not?" she said while smiling "Indeed Milady" her butler curtly replied. This is a story of a princess who live in a very big castle... or at least, supposed to be...

Ana woke up in a creaking bed and an annoying sound. Putting off the sound she made an unlady like face while going to their small bathroom. She then turned the faucet and went to the kitchen, the faucet made a whistling sound as if singing but is not spewing any water, just air. 

Her Mother then emerged from the door "breakfast is ready, I'll be going now" her wrinkles made apparent showing her stress, Ana made small talks before eating her breakfast. The faucet finally spew clean water, she ran into its direction to take a bath then put on her old school uniform, ate breakfast and headed to school.

The birds sang a concert as Ana walked on the stone pavement, humming a song as she confidently walk unto her school, she's been doing this for a long time after all, she can get there even with her eyes closed. Well that's just an exaggeration. On her way she saw a few girls talking about the latest trends. 

She felt a slight loneliness on their silhouettes since she doesn't have a phone, they cannot afford one. Nevertheless she's still happy without those things, she have friends, she have her family, she have her classmates, what's more can she asked for?

If she's allowed to be selfish for just one day... maybe... just maybe... she wanted one more. A lover.

But with her face? there is no guy who would make a mistake and court her... she's not worthy.

She still dreams to be Princess however. Those princesses who lives in a really big castle, have a lot of butlers, a cute dress, a beautiful room, she idolized those things.

...It's free to dream right?

While fantasizing about things that she can never reach she saw a girl who... at any minute now, might actually, cry? well she does looks like she's about to cry.

She's gonna be late to be honest, if she involved herself in her she definitely won't make it in time, her advisor has always been strict with attendance, time in particular so she convinced herself that she must not get involved. 

Let's ignore her okay? we cannot help her, we don't know her, we're gonna be late. Words that she whispers for hundreds of times.

"What's wrong?" she already started regretting the moment she went back for her but she can't helped it as she's born that way. Apparently the girl just moved in and she's wondering where he can find the convenience store. Indeed finding the convenience store would be quite a task for those who lived in the city part since it's kind of far from it.

After helping the girl she finally made it to her classroom, needless to say, she's late but there's nothing she can do about it. 

At break time the gossip girls made a commotion as they fetched a nice rumor saying there will be two transfer students coming at their classroom, however Ana doesn't pay attention to her surroundings as she try to consider her next part time job, this is much more important to her.

Classes have concluded and she's on her way home after surveying her next part time job. Life is indeed hard for those unfortunate, she thought as she catch a couple eating a cake together. They have nothing to do with me is her excuse as she won't feel any loneliness. 

By looking down on couples like that she would at least feel superior to them... yes that's the reason. That's have to be the reason. She will never accept any less.

And then suddenly, a lonely tree is shining, sparkling to be more specific. She spot it a lonely yard facing the moon. The Tree has an apparent shine as it glows under the moonlight. 

Entranced by it she slowly approached the tree when something jumped in front of her "You have found me!" no, you jumped in front of me, is what she wanted to say but for now, she'll just smile.

It's a creature no taller than 14cm, has transparrent wings and... apparently, flying? is it gliding? floating? she doesn't know. Its appearance is more adorable than creepy, she wanted to question its existence but she's not smart. Who cares? does it even matter?

"I'll give you a gift, tell me your wish!" it declared with a haughty voice. My wish? let's see, she close her eyes as she thinks deeply, There is nothing coming to mind "I'm already satisfied, I have nothing to wish for" she smiled and left "is that so?" slight sadness comes from its voice.

On her way she whispers "But I wanted someone who would be with me"

Same morning, same routine "you're early today" her friend laugh "now this is unusual" another one laugh. It's fine once in a while right? The two new person line up placing Ana on their center.
