EARTH 38, 3rd POV

Barry and Kara are thrown on to chairs

"What are you going to do to us?" Barry asks
"Something." The person replies with
"Wow very descriptive, you win the Oscar for descriptiveness." Kara says sarcastically

A bolt of electricity strikes both of them

"What was that?" Kara asks
"IT WORKED! YES! Thank you for your powers" The figure says

Barry tries to phase out of the chair and clearly fails

"Oh don't worry Barry. You'll get your speed back soon." The figure says
"Bring them to their cell." The person continues with

Barry and Kara get escorted out of the room

"Where are we goi-" Barry gets shushed
"I'm getting you out of here." The guard says
"Why would you-" Kara gets shushed as well

Two guard walk by past them

"Look, let's just say that, I know what the person is up to, and I can't afford whatever he's doing to happen to my family. You two are the best odds against him."

The guard leads them to a secret path

"Run get out of here, the alarm is about to go off" The guard says with his weapon ready
"You're going to die." Kara says worried
"I know."

The guard hands them a photo of his family

"Tell then I love them"
"We will." Barry says.
"Now run!"

Barry and Kara take the escape route and get out only to hear someone scream and die

"How do we get out of here?" Kara asks panicked

Barry phases just a bit

"My powers have sort of come back, I can gain some distance between us and them." Barry says with confidence.

Barry picks up Kara bridal style with no hesitation and begins to run, starting to stutter in between.

"Come on, come on..." Barry says with fear.

They make it to the DEO just as Barry falls down

"BARRY!" Kara screams
"Barry are you ok?" Kara says in panic
"I'm, I'm fine." Barry says panting in between each word.
"Kara, Kara we were so worried about you." Alex says running up to hug her.
"I'm fine, just get Barry to the medical area, he has multiple cuts and is exhausted." Kara says fast.

A pair of medics help Barry up and bring him to the medical bed

1 HOUR LATER, KARA POV

It's been an hour. Are you sure he's ok?
"He should be, it might be that he's sleepy. I mean he used the last of his energy to get you guys here." Alex says
You can go, I'll just wait here
"Ok."

Alex leaves

Well, when I was knocked out, you said some stuff while I was out so, who knows, maybe it will make me feel better. I really like you Barry. More than just a friend. When I saw you getting cut I wanted to bury that person deep and far underground forever. You're smart, brace, and everything about you is so amazing. You can make me laugh everyday. Whenever I talk to you I can't help but feel safe. Safe from everyone else. Actually whenever I'm with you, I feel safe, because I know you have my back and you risked the lives of other people, just to save me and that was idiotic.
