HIS P.O.V.
We've traveled far from our home that is now destroyed, it's been about four days, and truth be told, it hasn't been that hard for our people, except.... Helena, my sister. She's been dull and quiet the whole time. However for me, as an older brother, I didn't get to spend that much time with my family. I don't feel much for what happened, nor my sister but I need to be there for her. She needs me now, that I know far too well.
Currently we have found shelter in the woods of South Uthea. Neighbouring nation from us. Full of creatures such as Wyverns, mostly assigned by the great leaders of the nation as soldiers. They're great at terrifying the living left in me... Then Black Dogs, creatures that haunt the streets and wander around at night. They're still a mystery. Will find them everywhere you go, even in our kingdom, no harm they caused so far, therefore the youth is taught to accept them as pleasant guest, who knows maybe someday we'll manage to make contact. The only language they seem to speak with each other is whispering, nearly impossible to hear. But if you do manage to hear then it's nothing but meaningless mutering. But that's not importnt now.
She is.
In a small tent, I'm sitting besides her, Helena my sister. Not knowing how to react in such a situation, messing up is the last thing I'd want to do. I want her to have her space but no one would like to be alone. We both lost our parents afterall. She's quiet, just like the past days, bent forward with her golden hair completely let down covering her face, she's frozen in place, almost like she isn't even breathing, just taking a deep breath every two or three minutes, she's looking down on a red gem necklace nicely placed on her open pale palms. The last time I saw her wearing it, gemstone seemed to be green. Living in a world like ours - Magic is common. I don't see why the necklace wouldn't be enchanted based on her emotions. Common sense. Happiness would be green and sadness - blue. But this isn't the case, the gemstone is red but no signs of anger are visible. It's almost like she's hiding it. I wonder if she would stop pretending if I left but I won't be doing that. Not right now.
"Helly...." And just when I was about to say something to break the silence, someone else did the job.
"LADY! LADY HELENA!" A young maiden about the same age as Helena ran in without even asking for permission. Poor way to treat your lord at such a time but she wasn't just an ordinary maiden.
Third Person P.O.V
Helena slightly shook her head wiping away her tears although there were none. She shook her head, and turned around to face her with a bright smile, like a completely different person.
"Sara!" She immediately hid away her necklace and stood up, fixing her messy hair and spreading her arms wide open, just before Sara knocks her down. Sweating a little, out of breath in her embrace. Sara lets go and jumps high up and lands on her feet, bending in a little and offering her hand.
"Good morning Lady Helena! Beautiful day out, I was wondering if you wanted to go explore a little? I'm sure you could use for some fresh air!" Sara gave her simply the warmest smile a person could get as the fresh air and warm sunlight was entering the tent, warming up Sara's back. She grabs Helena's arms gently and pulls her up wiping off every smallest speck of dust to be seen.
"You really should learn to stay on two legs instead of falling, this isn't your first time now is it?" She replied lowering her head slightly and looking away. "I understand what it feels to... Well, loose someone. But you have to move on. You're not the only one who's mourning.. Everyone is. Therefore It's your duty as our new Que--"
"Please! Lord is just enough."
".. Right! As our lord, to smile! Only just like that, everyone will have a reason to smile back. We're glad to have someone like you leading us forward even on the darkest days.." Within the last word, Helena playfully poked Sara's forehead and smiled back at her with tears running down her red cheeks.
"Understood, Ara!" Helena bowed politely and walked past her grabbing her sword before exiting and setting it in her black leather holster tied around her waist. "Let's get going!" She replied with her tone full of joy, waving her hand. "Let's enjoy whatever nature has to offer us, but first, let's check on everyone." She added before heading out.
Sara soon catches up and they head to the another tent which is closest to Helena's. A tent where four very well known troublemakers resigned."Morning Temna, Aisaka, Leuche...." She sights and looks at Sara with a smirk and then at them. "Girls, what are you three doing? And where's Kory?" She added looking from one to another.
Leuche P.O.V
"Lady! We want to help too so we're helping hand out food to everyone! Isn't that right girls?!" I answered her trying my best to avoid the last question. It felt like my eyes were glued on her and I couldn't move a muscle, pray she doesn't ask again. I felt heavy sweat run down my forehead.
"Kory? What about Kory." She asked again looking a little more serious, I had given up and was about to say but..
"Lady Helena! I have something to report..." Kory rushed to us like she was running for her death. It looked hilarious, she always does that but she rarely dares speak up to the royalty. She may be the youngest of us but she's by fact smartest kid around. Although she behaves like a complete... Dumb dumb.. Sometimes.
"Kory!" Helena yelled out turning her head in Kory's direction.
Kory stopped and looked up at lady Helena completely out of breath. Her body was visibly trembling nonstop.

Alright so I think this is the end of the first chapter. I don't know how many I'll be doing but time will tell. This was a rather easy one to write knowing that I don't... Write that much... *^^*
Special thanks to Stars_of_Bethlehem for inspiring me into writing!
Also heads up! The next chapter will be out in a couple days, maybe tomorrow. Depends on how things will go. Today I'll try to make a character introduction, however I'll include as much information as possible, however, I don't want to give off secrets that will only be discovered further in the story.Chloe, signing out!
Peace~
