It Is Easier To Beg For Forgiveness Than Ask For Permission

He knew that this was bad. Very bad. In fact, worse than that time he and his "big brother" managed to annoy the living hell out of Arceus. Not a very good move, mind you. However, what was done was done. Now, as he stood in front of that imposing, intimidating creature that dared living in this unforgiving wasteland of ice, he was most definitely sure that this had been the single worst mistake he had ever made.

"So... Twosie... what are you planning?" A small voice chirped in his head. He just glared down at the ground, his strong tail swishing irritably. He had to think.

But before he had the opportunity...

"What in the name of-?!" the voice of a very surprised trainer sounded, snapping him out of his focus. He merely growled, ignoring the odd looks the girl was giving him.

"Rem!" the beast he was facing off shouted at him. "You!"

Looking back up, his eyes dead set on the dragon-like creature that was glowering at him with his icy gaze, he gulped. "Yes, me," he muttered. His gaze sharpened as his limbs tensed. Within his appendages he slowly began to create a pool of psychic energy turning it into a brilliant sphere of light. "And you would do better to let this mortal go."

The girl looked between the two enraged Pokemon, seeming confused.

"Me?! I wasn't the one to send this ignoramus off on a quest now, was I?" The girl seemed to blink. Wait... "She can understand our speech?"

The grey and lilac Pokemon just nodded.

"H-how is this possible?" the Kyurem asked shot, before spitting out an accusation, "you've created a freak! You and your pathetic, so-called brother of a disaster that is never up to any good!"

She seemed to flinch at that, her lips quivering in fear.

"Freak?! We never allowed her to understand us!" He argued. Then shot the blast of light at the Kyurem sending him away from the human girl and into a wall. Hearing a crash, he turned to the female mortal, with an apologetic look. 'Oh... Arceus, forgive my actions.'

Terrified and mistrusting the girl reached out to the wall behind her.

Akila's P.O.V

I couldn't understand any of this. Holding on to the last of my sanity, reason and the stone wall behind me, I closed my eyes, hoping that this would be over. Though when no pain came, I opened one eyes slowly, observing my surroundings. The strange psychic Pokemon with the weird voice was still here. In front of me. And I could swear I knew what it was. Though it seemed highly improbably... if not impossible.

Mewtwo?!

"W-w-wha- why am I not dead...?" I blurted out, confused.

I heard a sigh.

"I do not kill humans. At least, not any more," Mewtwo answered, his amethyst eyes dead set on mine.

But he had killed before, hadn't he? I gulped, still refusing to let go of the rocks behind me. One gets paranoid after they get attacked by several Pokemon in the same day, is stuck in a cavern and sees not one, but two legendaries.

"H-how can I-I trust you not to kill me later?" I interrogated him.

He mumbled something under his breath, before turning around. For a while he seemed to study the walls, then turned to the mouth of the cave and then finally looked over to me. "You can trust me more than you can trust the mountains, but never think that this will remain unchanged," was the only answer I received.
