Family Reunion

Waiting. ...

Me and Leila have finally found Sonic's mother. She was an amazing animator, so it was easy to find.  The father however was almost impossible, in a matter of fact the father came up to us! The mother confirmed that this man was indeed the father and now we were all sat there. Waiting for sonic.

When he came in I could see the wave of confusion, when seeing the old man and woman. The woman in tears saying in between cries.

"My baby! My sweet big little skinny chubby ball of meat that would run around"

Sonic was even more confused. I smiled
"There your parents....your actual parents."

Sonic hugged the old woman crying against her. He then hugged the old man. The old man hugged him back in a strange awkward way that would make anyone uncomfortable. But sonic didn't seem to mind. He was happy.

After the emotional reunion, we all sat down to have diner together. The father was eating a worrying amount of sugar and the mother's quite social compared to the father.
She laughed when she found out that they gave the name sonic to her son. She said that he was even blue enough to have that name. The father would chuckle in his corner, every joke, every smile, every laugh that his ex would give seemed to fill his heart. He still loved her.

The mother then left, so that she can work on an anime. She promised to viste the next day.  The father took me to the garden. He was patting Kuro. He spoke in a cracked monotone voice
"Thank you"
I smiled "but....you came up to me. If it wasn't for you i wouldn't have been able to contact the mother."
He patted my head "I am thankful for my son to have such a wonderful woman....I hope he doesn't ruin it just as I did"
I murmure "I'm....sorry"
He sighed "don't be"

He then left after saying goodbye.
