"Cassidy, what's our wedding theme?" Thought Carter Wellington to his soon to be wife.
"I was thinking very modern and refined. Like very loose and very floral." Thought Cassidy Valentine.
"I like how you think babe! Now let's think, modern and elegant is like a livid color, and then we can have tea lights and floral flowers?!" Thinks Carter.
"I'm so excited honey!" As she kissed Carter.
----------------------------------------------
"Cassidy, don't drink all of that!" Screams Carter.
"I'm dying to do it!" As Cassidy drinks a whole bottle of Chardonnay.
"Oh hell, it's your bachelorette party." Carter says practically throwing Cassidy into their car.
"Have fun, babe" kissing her along the cheek.
Cassidy stumbled on her best friend's door.
Carter went home and waited for their wedding day.
---------------------------------------------- -during the bachelorette party-
"Hey! Let's Drink outside!" Protests Julie -Cassidy's best friend and maid of honor.-
"That sounds good"
They stumble to the door and fall backwards on some colorful lawn chairs.
-they laugh all night till the pass out outside-
----------------------------------------------
"Huh, That was some night, Cassidy. Cassidy? Cassidy?!"
Terrified Julie looks around expecting to see her best friend passed out somewhere.
Julie looks under every rock, looks around every corner, texts, calls, but she was no where to be found.
"I have to tell, Carter! No, no I can't. He'll kill me for losing his wife!"
Julie takes one more look inside, but she wasn't there. She was really gone.
"Hey! Perhaps she got up early and drove to the church. In that case, I won't worry about it!" As Julie takes a sip of day old beer.
-----------------------------------------------Julie gets ready for the wedding when she gets an unexpected text message.. for Carter..-
"Hey, how's Cassidy? She's supposed be at the church. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, we're fine!"
"Okay.. Txt me if anything changes"
"K. bye"
At this point Carter starts to worry, he could smell her lies from a mile away.
"hmmm, maybe I'll go check on them" Carter thinks silently, and slips away to Julie's house.
----------------------------------------------
Later at Julie's.
-knock, knock-
"dammit" Julie thinks to herself.
"I'll just put on a smile and act like nothing's happening.
Julie opens the door and see's Carter.
"Hey.. Where's my bride?" Carter said worryingly.
"Uh, well.." Julies voice blows off into the distance.
"Well, see.. I don't know.." Julie peeped.
"What do you mean you don't know?!" Carter screams slamming open the door
Carter stomps around Julie's house looking for his bride.
"Okay, she's probably at the church in her room. Right?" Carter questioned.
"Yes! That's what I thought!" Julie exclaimed.
Carter took a deep breath in, and out, then left.
----------------------------------------------
At The Church
"Come-on, Julie! Time is ticking, the guest's are gong to leave if we don't find Cassidy." Carter snaps.
"Okay. My mother always told me to turn on the fire-alarm if we want to delay something." Julie shrugged.
"Julie, did I ever tell you, you were a genius." Carter smiled.
-Julie laughed-
"Okay meet me outside, and we'll go look for her." Carter exclaimed.
Julie agreed and ran outside before Carter trigged the fire-alarm.
All of the guest came running out into the felid in front of the church.
"May I please have your attention!" everyone stopped talking.
"I would like for you all to stay in this field and DO NOT MOVE. Thank you." Carter yelled and went off to look for Cassidy.
Carter and Julie went everywhere looking up and down the church, looking in every corner, and in every closet. But she was no where to be seen.
Carter sighed and a tear or two came softy down his cheek while he whipped Julie's tears away.
"Hi, everyone! May I please have your attention. I have to ask you guys to all go home, the wedding is canceled." Carter sobbed.
Everyone was yelling, asking why they wasted their time for nothing.
Carter began to cry as Cassidy's parents walked down the hill to their car -a red Toyota Prius.-
"Hey.. We never checked by that river down there.. maybe she went to get flowers or something and got lost." Julie says teary-eyed.
"Okay, Let's go check down there.." and they go down by the ocean right near the church.
Just then they see something in the water, or near the water. They run as fast as they can toward the object. As they got closer, and closer, they realized whatever it was, was looking more, and more, like Cassidy.
They stop about 25 feet away from it. It was Cassidy! She was floating the water. Lifeless, like a doll. Carter tried to call the police but there was no cell phone reception.
"It's too late. she could have been dead for hours at this point, Carter." Julie cried
"I don't want let go, Julie!" Carter walled!
"GO! Go find cell phone reception. call the police. report a murder."
