Nana, Chloe and I got to the car and started driving to a meeting spot where Sabrina and jack would meet us. It was a abandoned basketball court in the woods and unlike Coldman road it wasn't haunted. We were about ten minutes away when jack called he said that when he called he didn't get a answer from her so he drove to her house and her parents said they haven't seen her, she had told them she was spending the night with me. My first reaction was to check my phone for a text and yep I got one it said " on my way to your place we need to talk is it okay if I stay the night either way I'm still coming over". I called the house phone to hear my little sisters voice I asked her if Sabrina came over last night, she told me no she didn't come over and that Sabrina's parents called and already asked that exact same question. I said okay and hung up.
I didn't bother to call jack I didn't want him to worry and freak out while driving I didn't tell Nana or Chloe either. I didn't want Chloe to crash, it would suck being chased by a demon and your cause of death is distracted driving. When we pulled up to the parking lot it was a walk over to the basketball court. Jacks car was already there so we walked to join him his car was still warm so he probably just arrived. I saw him standing staring up I knew something was wrong he would have made a smart comment like always or tried to say something about the weather. I ran over and the rest followed, I guess they knew I don't run for nothing. I got over there and he pointed the direction he was staring. We looked up and saw Sabrina hanging by a thin green vine. She had been clutching something in her hand I know it wasn't right but I told jack to give me a lift up so I could reach it and see. He looked shocked that I would have the audacity to want his help to pry something from our best friends cold dead hands. He looked at me in a way I could only describe as hope. Maybe he hoped I was right there was something in her hand, or he hoped it would end soon all of this would be over and we could go back to being normal teens, not afraid to leave our houses. He grabbed my waist and lifted me above his head I stood on his shoulder and grabbed a hard drive from her hands. She knew she was gonna die she was bringing the drive last night. If she had stayed the night this wouldn't of happened, if I had been home this wouldn't of happened. I looked at them as I blinked away a tear and I said we need to find out what was so important she risked her life for it, for us.
