Chapter 13

Jade POV
As we walked hand in hand inside the mall I was nervous. I wanted to see if anyone would notice me but I'm pretty they won't. I needed to find another way out of here.

"What store would you like to go in first?" Jason asking me which surprised me since he barely asks what I want.

"Uhh.. it doesn't matter." I responded to him with no enthusiasm. I didn't want to be here but I knew that this could probably be a better place to runaway from him. There's lots of people and security guards everywhere.

"It does matter because you'll be wearing these clothes. Not me." Jason stated his point that made sense. I started to think about what store and that's when a flashback came to my mind.

"Mom, can I please get this cute shirt?" I asked my mother that was looking at clothes that were too big for me. They were going to be for her.

"How much does it cost?" She asked me but didn't even look at the cute shirt with a white peace sign on the right side and the rest was red with glitter on it. The fabric was kind of itchy but I just really love the glitter on it.

I check the price tag which was $9.99.

"It's $9.99 with the bracelet too!" I beamed because I forgot that it came with a red and white bracelet that matched the shirt.

She finally looked at the shirt and bracelet. Once she saw it, she snatched it out of my hand, and said that I was too ugly to wear something like this.

The tears formed in my eyes and my heart shattered so much. I really liked the shirt but what hurt me the most was that she was right. I should of never picked up that pretty shirt, it deserves to be on a pretty girl; That pretty girl wasn't me. I didn't deserve nothing that held so much beauty and perfection. I will never deserve it, ever in my life.

"Hello, earth to Jade!" Jason waved his hand in my face.

"Sorry, I was just trying to remember one of my favorite stores but now I remember." I said kind of feeling a little hurt. I don't like remembering those moments.

Jason looked at me as if he knew that I was lieing. He looked in my eyes and saw something, I don't know what it was but it's like my eyes told him a secret. So, he kept his mouth shut and asked me where I wanted to go then.

3 Hours Later
I have now grown a strong disliking towards malls. It's so packed and there's always annoying people. While Jason and I was shopping, I got what I wanted but Jason thought it would be best if I got something a little more "expensive". Little did I know, I got loads of name brand purses, shoes, and jewelry. All I was looking for was outfits and one pair of shoes but Jason wasn't liking that idea. So, now he's carrying like 10 bags in his hands. We had to get out of the mall to put all the other stuff away and went back inside the mall because he said we weren't finished.

I didn't understand where he was trying to come from but right when I saw the sign of the store I knew this wasn't going to go out well.

Victoria's Secret

"Let's find you some sexy undergarments." Jason said with a wink and smirk. I looked at him as if he was crazy. I never wore laced panties and bras in my life. I am definitely not starting now either.

"I really don't want too. We already bought undergarments." I tried reminding him but his mind was somewhere else while looking at all the laced panties and bras.

"Close your eyes." Jason said with a light laugh and smile.

"Why?" I said curiously. I saw that he was holding something behind his back but I couldn't tell what it actually was.
