Chapter 3

Why wasn't I looking or paying attention?!

Slowly backing up, hearing nothing but my converse scrapping against the concrete. Turning around I hope that guy didn't see me.

"Where you going there sweetheart?" I hear a deep raspy voice. I stop dead in my tracks and slowly look back. The only thing I could see was his silhouette up against the alley wall.

"I-um went the wrong way." Telling the mystery guy the truth. 'The truth will set you free.' I thought to myself. Right now I pray that saying is right because I need to leave.

"Well you should be heading home by now. Its not a very safe place to be over here." The mystery guy said , realizing he had a British accent.

Taking the man advice I quickly turn around and speed walk home.

Opening my apartment door, I release a huge breath that I been holding in. I take off my converse, jacket, and head straight to my bedroom.

While I walk upstairs I notice my room door is wide open. I never leave my room door open. I have private things in there that no one needs to see , well only Danielle knows.

I quietly walk upstairs and made my way to the room. Looking around and seeing nothing suspicious. I been paranoid this whole day.

I go into my bathroom and undress myself into something comfy so I can head off to sleep.

When I am done with all my bathroom needs, I go straight to my bed but before I can fall asleep I see a little yellow sticky note on my nightstand saying

'Goodnight sweet dreams my beautiful angel. One day you will see me , that day will be very soon and you'll be all mine.

My eyes went wide. Who the heck was in here? Who wrote this damn letter? Are they stalking me? It says goodnight , so the person might be in here still!

I go around the whole apartment and see nothing. Maybe the person left. I walk my butt right back upstairs since no one is in here, thank God and fall asleep but still having these words in the back of my mind.
'You'll be all mine'
