In this modern world it seems there are only two kinds of people: the ones who make it, and the ones who don't. Eve happened to break those stereotypes. With her way of barely hanging on, but somehow still making it, the world seemed to think she was being productive and successful. Maybe it was how she gets to see the world with the very different jobs she performs or maybe it was her "devil may care" attitude she portrayed. Whatever it was, it was working for her so far. She found questioning her luck wasn't something she wished to do.
Eve could be described as young, fresh, hip, and radical. Or as anyone else would describe her, a first class dork. To be fair, she was nicer on the eyes for a total geek. She was always decked out in the thick rimmed, transparent bottomed glasses, but with her candy apple green eyes, dip-dyed blonde hair, her almost ivory skin, and sharp facial structure (almost always caked with a practiced face full of make-up) she was definitely not someone you would call ugly. Besides, her fashion sense was actually better than average, in fact, if it weren't for her stubborn 'wanting to save up for something better than pre-ripped material' attitude she would have all of the Instagram gurus watching her walk by with their jaws on the floor.
Eve had only gotten out of college a year or two back, yet she decided to take it upon herself to get out of the backwoods neighborhood of South Carolina she felt trapped in and move all the way to Los Angeles, California. Here, she had a few random internships, jobs, and a small well-loved apartment that she called home. For awhile that was her life, go to work, go home for some sleep, and go back to work.
In her time off she found herself diving into the depths of YouTube, eventually finding a few channels to subscribe to and enjoy more often. She became a big member of the community and saw a lot of YouTube supportive conventions happening around her. Soon enough she was seeking out tickets and wanting to become a part of the process of making so many people happy. She knew she would never have enough time to become dedicated to her own channel with so many responsibilities already on her shoulders, so instead she got in touch with the people who set up the community meet ups and conventions. After a few interviews and odd jobs helping out in smaller shows, for smaller YouTubers, she landed herself a full time job moving around the country, setting up panels, and helping big time YouTubers get to meet their adoring fan base.
That week Eve was about to have one of the busiest weeks of her life, all happening right in her new home town. It was going to be one of her greatest opportunities yet, but also her biggest nightmare. A week of behind the scenes operating on one of the biggest and most dangerous YouTube conventions, Vidcon. A place where you expect to meet the few people who have changed your life through a screen and maybe get a picture. It is not the place where you expect to meet the people who will turn your life upside down.
