You ran to the Mystery Shack quickly, your heart racing out of your chest. You flew by Mabel, who said, "Hey (Y/N)! Did yo-."

"Can't talk right now, see you later!" You yelled as you stumbled your way upstairs. You slammed your door so hard that it made the Shack shake a little. Dust flew everywhere.

You leaned against the door, trying to catch your breath. You grabbed your water bottle, and took a sip, wiping off the excess water on your lips, with your hand.

"You know there's such a thing called a napkin." Bill said, hovering over you.

"And there's a thing called knocking too." You said with a smirk on your face.

"Yes, but why use a door when you can just teleport." He said sitting down next to you, on the floor. "Why are you out of breath?" The demon  asked.

"I was exercising." You simply said.

"That's a good lie," Bill said, "Now can you tell me the truth?"

'Well technically, running is exercising, but should I tell him that I was running away from Dipper because he held my hand? Would he get mad?" You questioned yourself.

"No, I wouldn't get mad." He said.

"What?" You asked. He looked over at you.

"No I wouldn't get mad because Pine Tree held your hand, causing you to run away from him." You looked at him like he was insane.

"H-How did you kn-"

"I read your mind." He said interrupting.

"Okay," you said standing up, "We are going to have to lay down some ground rules." You started to slowly pace around the room. "One. Don't read my mind, unless I say so, or unless you absolutely need to. Two. Please do not scare me half to death by teleporting into my room, give me like a heads up or something. Got it?" You asked.

"Got it doll!" He said.

"Oh, and three. Don't call me doll." You hated being called "doll," it made you so mad. You didn't like it because it made you feel like you were meant to just be played with, like you were just there to look good, just to be beautiful and silent. You hated that word with a passion, it made you want to scream.

He looked at you, you could tell that he was reading your mind. "Fine, I won't call you 'doll' anymore." He said. He walked up to you, and wrapped his arms around your waist. You put your head on his chest, you could hear his heart beat.

'Wow,' you thought,'He actually has a heart.' You heard him chuckle.

"I told you not to read my mind anymore." He looked at you, with a sparkle in his eye.

"Sometimes I can't help it." He said.

You sat on your bed, he did the same. "So, why aren't you mad that Dipper held my hand?" You asked.

"Because I know that I'm better than Pine Tree and that you would choose me over him."

"Wow, you ego is to big." You said chuckling.

"Yeah, I guess it is." You heard him say.

You felt his arm go around you, and his hand intertwine with yours, but you didn't run away, you had a light blush on your cheeks. You didn't know how you felt about him, your feelings and emotions were jumbled up, like a big incomplete jig saw puzzle that was just now trying to be solved.
